Razer's POV

So, I've just learned that when you join sides with the former evil, everybody in the world automatically assumes that you're also evil.

Fine, I get it! I understand, really! But there's more hidden in every story, you can't judge a book by it's cover.

I'm also a cynical teenager. I know very well that anyone can die. Even the least likely to is always at equal risk of death.

"Do you hear that?" Meeps asked.

"Hear what?" I asked.

"I'm not sure," Meeps replied, just as a swarm of vexes swooped down from the trees.

Meeps yelped as she pulled out an iron sword, stabbing as many vexes as she could.

I pulled out my blades and quickly helped her.

"Well, isn't this entertaining?" The Entity asked.

Null pulled out a glowing white sword and hissed. (I really don't think he can talk, actually. In fact, only Herobrine understands him). Unfortunately, Herobrine was currently not here.

Null hissed in anger as the Entity appeared next to him, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Entity's scythe smash against Null's sword as the two fought to the death.

Herobrine, where are you? I thought. We could really use your help!

A vex swung it's small sword, slicing the tip of Meep's left ear off.

I yelled and slammed the vex, knocking it away from Meeps.

As the two of us kept trying to kill the vexes, Null and Entity continued their duel.

However, Null was weakening.

Finally, Meeps and I took care of the last vex, and I turned over to help Null...

The Entity's scythe had plunged into Null's chest. The Entity removed his scythe and disappeared, as blood poured from Null.

"HEROBRINE!" I screamed in horror, and suddenly Herobrine appeared, his face full of anguish as he saw Null, laying on the ground, bleeding to death.

Meeps and I stared at the two, gasping and bleeding from several small cuts.

"Not you, please not you," I heard him whisper in fright. "Not you, Null, not you, please."

I wanted to help him, I really did, but we could tell that the wound was fatal, and that there would be no recovering.

"Why did it have to be you, Null?" Herobrine asked. "Why did it have to be my best friend?"

Null weakly lifted up his head and hissed faintly, then he went limp, his eyes closed.

Then I saw Herobrine do something that nobody would have ever expected.

He burst into tears.
