I'm happy for you, you better tell me everything that happens, bro," he pats my back and walks off into the storage room.
God, I couldn't wait for tonight.

~Present~
*Cameron's pov*

"What a fucking bitch," I scream in my head. How could she do this to me, I was offering her future to be better and she "found someone"? Yeah, right. She was probably just saying that to get me out of her face. I have to have her back, I've been a mess and I will stop at nothing to have her wrapped tightly in my arms again wither she likes it or not. She belongs to me, and needs to come back at home safe with me. I treat her well, but her constant depression was killing me. I know she was hurting, and maybe I was a dick sometimes, but the times I wasn't she was the best girl I've ever had the pleasure to know. I can't just let her slip through my fingers, she's my everything.

I sit back in my car and slam my head on the top of the wheel. I need her.
I have a plan to get her back. I need her to give me one last chance.

God, I need a drink.

*Ashton's pov*

I've been thinking about today all day long, no one really came into the shop today, which gave me even more time to think about what I had planned for Shay and I. I couldn't wait to see her.
I checked out of the store and bolted to my truck. The engine roared loudly, and I drove to the small coffee shop. I could see her cleaning the tables through the window. She looked concerned, maybe she was just focused. I need to stop worrying, she's gonna be okay and I'm the one who will do everything to make her okay.
I got out of my truck, walked across the street to the shop, bumping into a fancy car on the way.

"Watch where the fuck you're going," he shouts, taking another sip of whatever was in that brown bag. He had brown hair and looked like a complete dick in his stupid suit that I could barely see through his shitty tinted windows, he's probably a dumb drunk.

"Sorry, sir." I say quickly and flash a fake smile.
When I pull open the doors a bell rings and shays head rises.

"Sorry, we are cl-," she stops. "Oh, it's just you." Her worried expression leaves her face as she walks up to me for a hug.

"Ready to go?" I ask, then she releases.

"Yeah I just have to clean some tables real quick and lock the shop." She smiles. She begins to scrub the tables again.

"So how was work," I ask her.

"Um," she coughs. "It was okay,"

"Something wrong?" I ask. I can just tell something is bugging her.

"It's nothing, I don't want to ruin the rest of the night," she smiles and walks behind the counter.

"Shay, come on it won't ruin anything." I reassure her.

"I saw Cameron today, and I just- I don't want to talk about it, okay?" She fumbles her fingers to take off her black apron.

"Let me help," I offer. I untie the knotted apron and hang it up. "if you don't want to talk about it that's fine, I won't force you." I smile.

"Thanks, Ash. It's just been a long day. Let's go," she reaches up and kisses my cheek and follows me out the door, then locks it. She makes my heart race like nothing else in this world.

"I have your clothes in the back, so don't worry." I open the door for her. "Just relax." I smile and close the door.

"So where are we going?" She smiles. I have only been driving for a half an hour.

"How did I know you were going to ask that?" I chuckle.

"Come on, ash," she leans on my shoulder.

"Maybe if this dumb cunt would stop riding my ass!" I scream looking in the review mirror. Could he get any closer? Like seriously?!

I start to grip the steering wheel hard, leaving indents in it.

"Calm down, ash," Shay whispers rubbing my arm. It's scary how much she has this power over me. It's not in a bad way, but she can get me to calm down even after hearing about her stupid ex coming to her work like that, and this asshole behind me.

"Sorry, look I want it to be a surprise, okay?" I whispered back. She silently agreed and went back to rubbing my arm. It was really soothing. It kept me calm and at ease. I didn't know any other girl that could make me feel this way, and I'm glad it was Shay.

"Hey, Ash," Shay asks, breaking the silence once again.

"yeah?"

"I have to pee," she mutters quietly.

"Again?" I ask. She nods and smiles. "You're lucky I'm stopping, if you were Michael, I'd make you pee in a bottle." I chuckle and she does as well. Shay slams the truck door and runs to the restroom with her short tiny legs trying to catch up with her, I can't help but laugh at her. She was just so amazing. There's not a single thing wrong with her, she was perfect in every way. What's not to love?

"Excuse me," a man taps in the window. The same guy from the coffee shop.

"Can I help you?" I spat out. God, this prick again? He followed me here, and we've been driving for almost an hour. What could he possibly want?

"Have you seen this girl?" He hands me a picture. The girl was stunning. I take a closer look at the girl he showed me. She was gorgeous. Her hair draped over her shoulders and her sunning eyes. I felt like I knew this girl. With one last close look, I realize.

It was Shay.
