"Have you seen this girl?" He hands me a picture. The girl was stunning. I take a closer look at the girl he showed me. She was gorgeous. Her hair draped over her shoulders and her sunning eyes. I felt like I knew this girl. With one last close look, I realize. It was Shay.

My heart began to race. It was Cameron. Shay's Cameron. The one that causes her so much pain and agony. He was standing out side of my rusty truck holding out a picture of Shay. What do I even say? Do I tell him? I couldn't I didn't want him to. She's been so happy and I can't risk her being unhappy again.
"Well," he sighs impatiently. "Have you?"
"N-No," I stutter. "She doesn't look familiar."
"Are you sure?" He's asks again. He knows. How could he not? He followed us.
"Yes, sir." I say with a genuine smile.
"Alright." He says and walks away. From the review mirror I see him furiously walk back to his expensive car and pound madly in the steadily wheel.
Shay runs out with her he'd down and hood up, thank god, I couldn't risk him seeing her.
she slowly opens the door."Get in the truck! We have to go!" I yell frantically.
"What's the rush?" She laughs.
"Get in!" I yell even louder. Her Smile fades and does as she's told. She slams the truck door and I pull out of the parking lot as fast as possible, hoping not to make a scene.
"Would you like to tell me what's going on? What's the sudden hurry?" She asks with concern in her voice. Her crossed arms were pressed tightly against her chest.
"Nothing," I cough and try to think of something to tell her. I couldn't possibly tell her than Cameron came up to my truck and asked if I had seen her. She'll think I'm nuts and it I'll ruin the entire weekend. I couldn't not tell her either. What am I supposed to do?
"It's going to rain soon." I lie. "I want to beat the storm." she nods slowly and looks ahead of us.
It's almost dawn now and no one is really on the road. Thankfully I don't think Cameron is following us anymore. Why would he? I mean we are going to the middle of no where.

It's just a little bit after dark when we arrive. It's not much, but the cabin is pretty old, it was my grandparents. It's really peaceful out here. No cell reception at all, you can really get away for awhile.
Shay waits for me to unlock the door. I bring the heavy bags out from the bed of the truck. All of a sudden I hear someone coming down the road.
"Did you hear that?" I shout at a whisper. It's him, he followed us. My mind begins to race. He knew I was lying and followed us.
"It's probably someone just turning around," Shay shrugs.
"But there's nothing out here for miles" I exclaim.
