P1: Chapter 11

Yeji's POV

"Are you two dating already?" Aeri asked pointing at the two of us.

"No." i answered. I saw Ryujin looked away through ny peripheral vision. I just told her the truth. What's her problem?

We haven't really talked about it nor what happened that night. We still acted like how we are before. And i guess that's okay with the two of us. And I'm also not sure of my feelings. I just don't know why.

Aeri just nodded but she looks like she's not buying it. We decided to look for the others to go eat. We saw Yuna and Wonyoung waving at us so we did the same. I haven't told my friends about her confession that day.

"I'll just go look for Winter." Ryujin suddenly said. I think she's mad by the tone of her voice.

"She's with Karina already, they're going to meet us there." Aeri answered. I waited for how she'd respond but she just let it go.

"Yo! Gaaays!" Lia shouted so we got stares from people in the canteen. Chaeryeong hit her lightly. We all sat down and surprisingly, Ryujin didn't sat beside me. She sat beside Winter and Aeri. Okay.

"Yeji, let's order?" Karina said when she noticed i was being quiet. I was thinking about why Ryujin is acting like that. I just nodded and walked with her.

"What happened?"

"What?" i asked back.

"Did you two fight?" she asked referring to Ryujin.

"We didn't." because we really didn't. She just suddenly got pissed. Ugh, she's giving me a headache.

"Maybe she has her period." i answered, annoyed. Karina didn't bother to ask more and ordered our food.

We came back to the table after a few minutes. Ryujin is glancing at a different direction so i looked over there too. She's literally staring at nothing interesting. The grass? Maybe a bee? Ughhhh.

"Dude," Lia hit my arm. I gave her a glare but she hit me again. "What's your problem?"

"Nothing." i hate this feeling.

What are you thinking Shin Ryujin?

We're on our way home and I'm driving. Ryujin didn't talk to me for the whole day. And now, she's trying so hard to nap.

"Why are you being like this?" i finally get to ask her.

"What?"

"This. I can't with you ignoring me."

"I'm just not in the mood earlier, sorry." that's bullshit.

"Uh-huh," i pressed the brake hard when i noticed the light is turning red.

"What the fuck Yeji?" she angrily said while fixing her hair. I know it's my mistake but I'm still mad at her.

"Why are you so mad? You know we're not dating."

"I know, but..." i don't know why I'm nervous on what she's going to say next.

"But what?"

"Nevermind,"

No one spoke till we got home. I don't want to ask her more about it. I'm scared. She finished showering and headed straight to bed.

I got in the shower to freshen up and cool my head down. I finished fast and sat down the bed. I felt her move and the next thing i knew, she hugged me from the back. I felt more conflicted.

I tilted my head up to kiss her. She immediately responded making it deeper. 

"I'm sorry for ignoring you, Yeddeong-ah~" she said sweetly.

And for the 2nd time, we did it.

She laid down the bed after she got me a glass of water. She's just watching me button the polo which is hers.

"Yeji?" i looked at her waiting for what she's going to say.

"What are we?"

"Ryujin," i can't bring myself to say more. She chuckled shaking her head slightly.

"I honestly don't know..." i answered looking down.

"You know we could--uhm, date maybe?" she's looking at me hoping for a positive answer.

"I--" i sighed.

"You know what? Nevermind. Goodnight, Yeji." she said in a very pissed tone. She stood up and left the bedroom so i immediately followed her.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm sleeping at Winter's," she coldly said without looking at me. She just walked straight locking the gate without looking back. I just watched her leave.

I know i like her. It's just so complicated. It's not like everything's going to be fine the moment i agree to date. I'm Hwang Yeji, what would people say if they know I'm dating Ryujin? I laughed at myself.

It's funny how brave of me to advice those things to Karina when i have the same fears. I'm telling things i couldn't even apply to myself. Fucking hypocrite.
