P2: Chapter 3

Yeji's POV

"AAAAH!" i yelled holding my head. This is why i hate drinking. Karina and Winter is just watching me as i get up from the bed. Winter gave me a glass of water.

"Dude, just lay down after you drink that." Karina told me.

"I'll never drink again."

"Well after what you did you really wouldn't--" Lia said barging in our room. I gave her a confused look and Karina hit her arm hard.

"What did i do?"

"Nothing," the three said in chorus.

"Look it's better not to tell you, you'll remember it soon." Lia said while laughing awkwardly.

I saw Winter's facepalm upon hearing Lia's statement. Karina said don't mind her. I still don't feel well and didn't have the energy to ask her so i just ignored it. I told them I'll just take a shower before having breakfast. I removed my top but i stopped when i smelled something good in it. A familiar smell. Weird.

"Goodmorning, Yeji unnie!" Yuna greeted. She's bubbly as usual. I wish she'd never lose that energy till she grows up more. Wonyoung is helping her prepare our breakfast. I sat down beside Chaeryeong but she's giving me awkward stares. I raised an eyebrow to ask but she just shook her head at me.

Did i do something crazy last night? Like did i take off my top in front of people??? Ugh help me.

Winter's POV

She doesn't remember anything...yet. I can't help but to sigh while looking at Yeji. And Ryujin? She already left the resort this morning. She came with her cousin's family since she just returned to the country after 3 years. Oh wow, it's been that long.

"Do you want Chicken?" my girlfriend asked beside me. I just nodded at her smiling. I glanced outside thinking about the talk i had with Ryujin.

*Last night*

"Yejiii!"

"Where are you going?!"

"Is that...Ryujin??!"

Her friends all called her as we also started running towards them. That's when i saw where she's going. It's really Ryujin. Everyone was shocked by the next thing she did. Even the band stopped singing and then she passed out. Ryujin caught her in her arms gaining all the attention from the crowd.

"Please take down the video," Karina told one who's recording everything happened. It must be a live video for the band.

"Please, thank you." Chae also told them. They understood and followed. But i know, not everyone would. I just hope Yeji won't see that. People from the crowd started whispering and the band tried to calm them down. Ryujin carried Yeji away from the place and we followed them.

"Ryujinnie, who is she?" the girl with a brown long wavy hair asked yet she couldn't answer. She screams 'rich' just by her style and aura.

"I'll carry her." Aeri insisted but Ryujin didn't let go. Yeji is still unconscious. Aeri let her but she's not changing her mad look. Of course, everyone's mad at her.

"Can you tell me what's her relationship with my cousin?" i heard she asked from Lia. I doubt she'll get a clear answer from her. Because even us, didn't know what they were.

"I'll just ask her later, we need to carry her back your place." she told us bringing us back to our focus.

"I'm Jennie," she smiled at her and Lia introduced herself back. She's nice.

I went with Ryujin carrying Yeji to her room upstairs. I want to talk to her. I watch her just stare at Yeji as she brush her hair softly.

"Why?" i know she knows what I'm asking about. She just stared at me.

"No."

"She deserves to know." i coldly responded. She looked guilty wanting to cry.

"Look, everything's messed up okay? Ughhh...I shouldn't have went with them in the first place!" i can feel her anger. I told her to quiet down to not wake Yeji up.

"I'll tell you, but not here. And please, promise me you won't tell everyone. Even Karina." she said with pleading eyes. I sighed. We did the pinky promise. It means a lot to us i wont break it.

"I'm still mad at you," i said but she still pulled me for a hug.

"Just let me stay here for a few more minutes,"

She sat down beside Yeji. I watched her kiss her forehead softly. I told her I'll leave and wait for her at the bar.

I heard her took a deep breath before i managed to close the door. I'm feeling deeply hurt seeing Ryujin again. Seeing her towards Yeji. Fate is unfair sometimes.

"Hey, you're not listening," she pouted at me.

"I'm sorry," i sweetly said giving her a peck on the lips.

"My eyes!"

"Seriously! Respect us single people!"

They've seen it. They'll react. I stuck out my tongue on them to tease them more.

Shin Ryujin, i hope you can still come back to us.

Yeji's POV

I'm busy building a sand castle together with Aeri. I keep frowning as i try to make the fragments on my mind clearer. I froze and dropped the stick as i remembered what i did last night. 

Drunk. Band. Singing. Her.

"FUCK."

"W-what?!" Aeri asked panicking.

"No..." i felt weak as soon as it became clearer. Tears began to fall from my eyes and i felt Aeri's arms around me.

"Heyyyy, it's okay."

"What happened?" Karina approached us, followed by the others.

"Where is she?" I looked up asking them. Of course they knew about Ryujin. They all avoided my gaze except Winter.

"She left already." she said in a cold tone.

She was here last night. She was hugging me, giving me soft kisses on my forehead. I heard her voice. I know that wasn't a dream. 

I sobbed harder. Everything came back to me. The fear i felt that day, came back.

She left me again.

"Ryujin,"

"Hmm?"

I buried my face on her chest smelling her. She smell so good it makes me cry. After all the years of waiting i finally get to embrace her again. Damn, i missed her so much. I felt her tighten her hug till i couldn't fight my eyes from closing. Just a little longer Yeji.

"I'm sorry, Yeji."
