P1: Chapter 3

Yeji's POV

Why can't i just stop school? Ugh, the subject's for three hours but the prof is hot so I'm staying up as hard i can. I saw Karina using her phone trying to hide it. She seemed to be texting someone. I'm about to ask her when the prof called me.

"Miss Hwang,"

"Yes, sir?" i stood up.

"Can you give me three examples of asset accounts?"

Easy.

"Cash, Accounts receivable, Equipment." I answered him confidently.

"Very good, as expected Miss Hwang." he smiled at me. He's so handsome. Any girl would be lucky to date him.

We heard a knock so he stopped his discussion. "Excuse me, Sir Kai?" it's Miss Wendy, our guidance counselor.

"Yes, ma'am," he said and we all greeted her.

"We have a new student, i put her in this block section so it wouldn't be hard for her to adjust, she's also new to the country."

"Oh i see, get in Miss--"

"Shin Ryujin."

She's going to be my classmate???? I've been avoiding her as hard as i could. That's why it's often quiet in the house and she already stayed for like 3 days already. I don't know i just can't face her for long.

"Hello everyone, I'm Shin Ryujin. I hope to be friends with you all."

Sir Kai, told her to sit beside Lia. She just nodded and quietly sat down beside her. Everyone is literally checking her out (who wouldn't).

Karina poked my side. "Isn't she your roommate?" she whispered to me and i nodded. "She's so pretty what the fuck"

Ughh, i wish this class would end already. She's not doing anything to you, Yeji. I know but i just can't stay still! I looked at her direction. She's talking to Lia asking for help with the textbook. She then picked up Lia's pen that fell and gave it to her. They both giggled afterwards. Seriously? She's just been here for like 20 minutes.

"Woi Yeji," it's Chaeryeong.

"Hmm?"

"Your roommate is hot." i almost blurted "ikr" but i managed to hold it.

It's our break so I'm with the girls on our way to the canteen. Lia said she tried to invite Ryujin but she said she'll be with a friend. Good, because i wouldn't be able to talk if she's around plus knowing them, I'm sure they'd tease me about it.

We all got our lunch and sat down on the table. I'm currently looking around trying to see where Ryujin is but she's not here. I looked to the door and i saw Winter came in, with Ryujin.

"Omg, she's friends with Winter?" Lia said.

"Okay what if they're together????!" Chaeryeong exclaimed. Me and Karina immediately looked at them. Wait, why do i care? Why does Karina care?

"Nah, i think they're both top, they're just friends." Aeri said. How can she know about that?

"Well, we have to trust your radar Gigi," Chae said while giggling and Aeri just smirked at her.

I noticed Karina checking Winter as they order their food. "Woi," i called her.

"Hmm?" she's still not looking at me. I guess she's really trying so hard to get her revenge from that night. I know Karina, she won't accept defeat.

The two walked towards a table when someone called them. It's Wonyoung, one of Yuna's friends. They all smiled before sitting with them. Ryujin is sitting beside Yuna laughing with her. Is she going to flirt with all the girls here in her first day of school?

"If stares could kill, Yuna would be dead now." Lia laughing with her eyes while pointing at me.

"Aw, someone likes her unnie's friend."

"I don't."

"Just call her, Yeji. She'll sit with you for sure."

"Ugh, stop it you guys."

Will she though? I stood up and went to their table. I can see the stares of other people but i didn't mind them. I'm used to it. Yuna smiled at me so i just smiled a little to not be rude.

"Hey, Yeji."

"Ryujin, come sit with us." i boldly said. They're all shocked except for Winter who's staring at Karina right now. Bruh, just talk to her already.

"Sorry, but i just can't leave, next time Yeji."

I can't believe she refused. Now what? I noticed the awkwardness in the atmosphere so i smiled. "Okay,"

I waved them goodbye as i go back to our place. I'm more annoyed with my friends faces right now. They're holding their laughs. "Sorry--"
"Dude, i didn't expect you're really gonna do it,"

"I hate her."

Shin Ryujin, i doubt our relationship would get better. I was just nice to you because of my sister but i guess we can live together with issues. Ugh, i couldn't kick her out or my sister will kill me and I'll feel so bad. I looked back again and saw their friends teasing Yuna with Ryujin. 1st day and she's already got a girl.

Ryujin's POV

I frowned when i saw Yeji's looking all pissed. I didn't mean to turn her down, it's just really rude to just leave the ones who invited us. I am actually surprised she went and said that because she's been ignoring me for days. The silence in the house could kill me. I felt she doesn't want to be near me that's why it's also great Winter is here.

"You're friends with Yeji?" Winter asked beside me.

She is my highschool friend and fate brought us together again. I contacted her a day after i got in the country and found out she studies in this school. Well, we were awkward at first, haven't seen each other for like 2 years but our bond came back as soon as we hang out.

"Uhm, not--yet? But she's my friend sister and i live with her." her eyes widened.

"What?"

"You live...with Hwang Yeji?!" she whispered but loudly. I nodded.

"Uhmm, well she's so pretty."

"You like her?"

"Well i like her friend." she said and looked toward their direction. "That one?" i pointed at the girl in front of Yeji with long black hair.

"Mmhm," 

"I'll try to help you with her, man. But i guess i still have to tame Yeji haha," we both laughed.

Yeji looks so fierce everytime but i know she's not all that. She really has a bitchy attitude maybe also because of her reputation here. I just don't get why she seem so awkward with me. I won't bite her...
