The Guardians-Publish Pending (Wattpad Version)

Chapter 16: Tension

They screamed the whole way down. On their way down they saw lots and lots of guards and then they saw real live gems.
"Do you think we should take them? They look like the four elements, plus one extra," said Payton.
"Yeah, if they are in trouble then we should take them if they are theirs," said Ellie.
"I think that's a good idea," said Grace.
And they slid the rest of the way down.
"Well," said Gale. "What do we have here?"
"We are here to rescue you," said Ellie confidently.
"No, we don't need rescuing, we're fine," said Gale.
In Gale's mind he did not like humans, and he wanted to get rid of them. Gale's parents were killed by humans. He thought that if he could kill all the humans then he would be powerful, but then Rose told him that if a Guardian would kill a human and take the heart and put it in magical thread. They would become powerful, and if he had fifteen hearts then they would come back to life. Then his animal would show, because when a Guardian dies their animal spirit is unleashed but he remembered that the other Guardians would be furious.
"Gale, we need them. They opened up a tunnel that they used to get here, now we can use that same tunnel to get back. There is a rope we can use to get out of here, right?" said Rose.
"But what about our powers?" said Fyron.
"Well....on our way here we took some gems, because we were in the tunnel, and on the way down we saw some gems, and two people sitting by a machine and they were screaming things like 'Don't do this!' and 'You will pay for this Fred!' and then a guy was like 'Stop North, stop Kennedy!'"said Grace
She tossed the gems to the Guardians.
"Well we still don't need your help to get out of here anyways. We will make friends on our own and we don't need you and we can't trust you and this is just too crazy and I can't believe this it's just too much," said Coral.
"Calm down Coral, we need you as much as we need them. Guys, I'm going up that rope, if you don't mind, and getting out of here,"said Rose. "And what are your names again?"
"Payton, Grace, and Ellie," said Payton.
"Lalalalalalalalala," said Ellie.
Payton rolled her eyes at her.
So Rose went up the rope and into the land of the Meddlers.

Back in the dungeon there was a debate...
"What do we do now? There is a rope, let's just go up it," said Coral
And up she went.
"Is anyone coming up the rope?" said Grace.
"No," said Fyron.
And so she pulled up the rope.
"Fyron, what are you doing, now we are stuck," said Gale.
"Now that we have our powers back we can get back to our huts," Fyron argued.
"Yes, good point but how do we get North and Kennedy back?" Gale countered.
Fyron sighed. "I honestly have no idea. I knew bringing that girl was a bad idea!"
"Oh please, give her a chance, she's only been here for a week!"
Fyron scowled. "Fine, let's just make it quick."
Gale looked at him quizzically. "Make what quick?"
"Uh, the thing that we've been talking about for the last five minutes!"
Gale was so angry that he gathered the wind and he wrapped it around Fyron, making him spin around repeatedly.
"HEY! STOP THAT!" Fyron yelled.
"Make me."
Zap was hanging around in a corner, just watching them. But the fight was now getting pretty heated. He knew that he had to act.
Gale and Fyron weren't using their powers anymore, they were punching each other!
"'EY! BREAK IT UP!" Zap said, stepping between them. "We're in Fred's dungeon, 'member 'at? So apologize to each o'er, and let's get movin!"
Gale looked at the ground. "Sorry."
Fyron fidgeted with his circlet. "I'm sorry too."
Gale nodded. "Here, I'll get us back to the huts."
He raised his hands, and an aura of white light swirled around them, whisking them back to the huts.

In the North Tower some danger was happening, something that would change the Guardians' way of living forever.
