This book is part of 'The Black Series' but can be read as a stand alone- though I'd advise you to read the first two previous books of the Serie to be able to understand some parts which might turn out of be confusing for you.
All the books in this series suck. HONESTLY, I WOULDN'T READ IT IF I WERE YOU. It's a complete waste of time.
