Trap

"Where have you been?" Jace asked Avery who broke the hug and sat on the bed.

"I've been trying to find my family's murderers- it led me here." Avery responded.

"Vincent told me that he along with the Mexicans killed them" Jace said, "Tell me everything that you've found."

"Well...not much. I've been trained and sent on missions by Jackson Lewis- the Mexican mafia leader. He wanted me to marry his son then I ran away and now he's after me." Avery made this short.

"What?!" Jace asked, almost shouting in disbelief.

"You heard me. I don't know what he's gonna do to me when he finds me but-" Avery said but was cut off by Jace,

"Does he loves you?" Jace asked out of curiousity.

Avery sighed but nodded, "Like crazy! I hate him-"

"This is perfect! You are gonna be perfect for this plan- Ryan loves you and he will be ready to do anything to have you with him. Years ago, I found someone who claimed to be Lucas. I sent my men to follow him and find everything about him. They found out that his name is Gabriel and he works for Ryan. So I made him believe that I believed him so that I can try to find out what Ryan is planning." Jace stated.

"You want Ryan dead, right?" Avery asked to which Jace nodded instantly, "More than any fucking thing."

"Well then I have a plan." Avery said, making Jace immediately interested in knowing what she has to say.

"What is it?" Jace asked, taking a seat next to her on the bed.

"Let's make Lucas meet me. I'll tell him everything about my past to make this whole thing seem real- he's definitely going to report this to Ryan. Then he'll try to get me out of here since this is your territory and Ryan is no fool to come here. That mother fucker is hiding in America- We'll make it seem like you threw me out of the house and we hate each other. Lucas won't suspect anything then I'll return to America. He'll come to America and will definitely try something there. Then you are going to come to America but before I leave, you've got to install a tracker in me. I don't care where but you've got to put it." Avery spoke.

"Good plan." Jace commented, "Will it work?"

"There's only one way to find out." Avery mumbled.

"Where's my favourite sister?" A voice asked from downstairs. Avery rolled her eyes before getting up from the bed. She went downstairs and saw Lucas standing in front of the door with a box of chocolates in his hands.

'Great! He brought me chocolates- What does he think I am? A fucking kid?!' Avery asked herself in her head.

"Hey brother!! Oh my god- chocolates!!" Avery said, faking her joy.

"Yep! I knew my little sister loves eating chocolates! Anyways, who doesn't?!" Lucas asked, grinning.

Avery said out loud, faking her excitement, "I love chocolates! Thank you so much!!"

"You're welcome." Lucas replied with a smile, "How about we watch a movie and eat the chocolates?"

"I thought you brought it for me so I was thinking of eating it alone." Avery replied innocently.

Lucas's smile fell but he didn't say anything.

"Never mind. By the way, I'm going somewhere- do you want to come with me?" Lucas asked, changing the subject.

"Where?" Avery asked, raising her brows.

"A house- I just bought." Lucas replied, "It's huge and beatiful. You want to come and take a look?"

"Sure! Let's go." Avery said, she knew that it was a trap. Lucas was about to take her directly to Ryan.
