"James," you yell as you stand in the doorway.

"Yes y/n" he comes running to your side.

"Can you get take all Steve's stuff out and put it on the boxes and then in the storage closet? I hate to ask you to do all that but I'm not ready. I was so excited for us to have this life together bucky" you begin to cry.

Bucky hugs you and says, "I'm sorry doll. I understand. Hey look at me that's why I'm here, ok? I'm going to take care of you."

"Thank you James. I know Steve would be happy at the great job you're doing." You step away so you can look him in the eyes. The steel blue eyes that you used to be able to get lost in.

"Y/N I just want you to know that I'm not trying to get into your pants or anything. I understand we're through." He says as he runs his fingers though his hair.

"I know James," you say. "I'm going to go take a nap on the couch."

"No no take my room," he says as he grabs some empty boxes from the broom closet.

"Are you sure?" You ask raising an eyebrow.

"Positive just go. What kind of guy would I be letting the pregnant lady sleep on the couch anyway?" he chuckles as he heads into yours and Steve's bedroom.

You make your way into the guest room and strip all your clothes except for your sports bra and underwear and crawl under the covers. In no time you fall asleep.

You are awakened several hours later to Bucky standing in the door way whispering your name. "Y/N I made grilled cheese and tomato soup if you're hungry."

"I could eat," you say as you roll out of bed. Bucky looks down embarrassed. You chuckled softly. "No need to be embarrassed James. There's not a single part of me you haven't seen."

"Yeah things are different now though," he turns quickly to return to the kitchen and you pull your shirt on over your head.

You walked out to the dinning area where Bucky had set two bowls of soup and a plate of sandwiches "Thanks," you smile before you sit down. He sits next to you. For the first few moments there's complete silence. "James this might be asking too much but well do you think you could be there with me when Sarah is born? I don't want to do this alone."

"If that would help you then of course." Bucky says dipping his sandwich into his soup before taking a bite.

"Bucky... I'm really sorry. I should have listened and stayed home." You take a deep breath.

"It's fine y/n no use in bringing up the past what's done is done. I feel bad about how I treated you but I can't change it." He gently rubs your hand with his thumb. "When's the baby due?"

"Three weeks," you smile weakly. You can't help but think that maybe if you had listened to Bucky you would be married at this moment and Anthony Steven would be almost 6 by now. The thought of this makes you begin to cry.

"Doll what's wrong?" He says as he moves his chair closer you so he can hug you.

"I was just thinking of baby Tony," you cry even harder. "How can you miss some one you never met? Gosh I miss him so much every day."

"I know Doll. I know," he hugs you tighter. "I said it once and I'll say it again I'm with you to the end of the line. Even though we aren't getting married anymore I promise I will take care of you no matter what."
