Loosing game

Chapter 13

BUCKYS POV

Y/N and I took Sarah to her seven month check up. Sarah got a clean bill of health from the doctor. She's crawling up a storm which means we have to watch her extra close now to make sure she doesn't get in trouble. Y/N now goes into work at stark tower four days a week. Tony wanted her to be CEO in the event that he ever died and well he did. So now she works about thirty five hours a week. She takes Sarah in with her most days but today I finally convinced her to leave Sarah with me. Sarah was playing on the floor while I watched a movie. When I looked at the time I saw that there was about fifteen minutes until y/n comes home.

"Come on Sarah," I said picking her up and walking into my room and grabbing a shopping bag from yesterday. Next I carried her downstairs to y/n's room.

I walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I set the bag on the counter still holding Sarah with one arm. Inside the bag I pulled out several candles, one lavender bath balm, one camomile bath bomb, a aloe Vera face mask, and lavender scented bubble bath. I plugged the large tub which really is the size of a small pool. Honestly four people could fit inside this tub. I began to fill the tub dropping in the bath bombs and adding a generous amount of bubble bath. While I waited for the tub to fill I lit the candles and then dimmed the lights of the bathroom to a warm golden yellow.

"Do you think mommy's going to like it Sarah?" I asked giving her a kiss on the cheek. "She's been working so hard the past few weeks she deserves a night to herself." I grabbed clean towels from the linen closet and then placed them in the towel warmer.

Just as I was finished up there was a knock at the door. "Bucky? What are you doing let me in. This isn't funny,"

I turned off the water and opened the door. "Hi y/n sorry just finishing up," I said moving so you could see everything I had done.

"Bucky, I don't know what to say." She said tearing up. "This is the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me."

"Just enjoy some time to yourself. There's a face mask on the edge of the tub and towels in the towel warmer. I hung your bathrobe on the rung by the tub too." I said   Smiling, "take your time I'm going to take Sarah to go feed the ducks at the park, you've got the place to yourself for a while."

"Thank you so much Bucky," she said getting on her tiptoes to kiss me on the cheek. "I don't deserve you," she smiled as she pulled me in for a hug.

"No it's me who doesn't deserve you. You work all day and take Sarah with you. You know I'm more than happy to watch her right" I said still hugging her.

She pulled away and looked me in the eyes, "I know I just feel bad. I mean you aren't actually her dad and well I feel bad asking you to watch her for ten hours a day while I'm gone."

"It's the least I can do y/n, now strip and go get in the tub before the water gets cold" I winked before walking out of the bedroom and closing the door before she could say anything else.
