Loosing game

Chapter 14

BUCKYS POV

I returned from the park with Sarah. After playing on the playground and feeding the ducks for a little over an hour we walked inside and found y/n settled on the couch with a glass of sparkling cider.

"Oh hey!" She said as she moved to stand up.

"No don't move we'll come to you," I said sitting down beside y/n with Sarah in my lap.

"I was just about to pump but you all are back just in time," she took off her tank top and  reached for Sarah.

I handed Sarah to y/n and put my right arm around her as Sarah latched onto y/ns breast. "How long are you planning on doing that for?"

"Hopefully a year," she said smiling "thanks again for well everything I really enjoy having some time to myself."

"Of course y/n I was glad to help you out." I smiled "So have you reconnected with Thor?"

"No, I kind of took it as a sign that maybe it's too early to start dating," she said, "Ow, she's starting to get some teeth in, definitely makes the process more painful."

"I can't imagine," I said pulling her a little closer.

After about twenty minutes Sarah fell asleep. I took her upstairs and got her ready for bed and laid her down in her crib.

By the time I returned to the couch y/n was falling asleep. I sat back down and put my arm around her and let her lean on me. Pretty soon she fell asleep. I smiled as I watched her sleep peacefully with her head on my chest. I moved so I could lift her being careful not to wake her. I carried her to her room and tucked her under the covers. After I made sure she was comfortable I left taking the baby monitor with me.

I checked in Sarah one more time before heading up to my room to get ready for bed. Just as I was getting ready to crawl under the covers I got a text from y/n asking me to come down to her room. I walked downstairs carrying the baby monitor with me.

"Hey, you ok?" I said walking into y/ns room.

"Uh yeah, do you think you could stay with me tonight? I've been having nightmares again." She said sitting up partially to look at me.

"Of course, I remember how bad they could get." I said as I crawled into bed and laid beside her. Once I had gotten comfortable she moved closer to rest her head on my chest. I put my arm around her and kissed the top of her head, "Good night y/n"

I waited for a response but it didn't come. I could tell by her breathing that she was asleep. "I'm going to do everything I can to win you back. No matter what it takes. I love you so much and I never should have left you. I regret it everyday."

I missed those days. We hid in Romania for two years and spent every night like this. She had awful nightmares and well so did I. But we kept each other's nightmares away.
