A/N: Hey, just wanted to let you guys know what to expect in terms of future chapters! I am going to be marking this fic as completed, but I'm still adding chapters after the main story! I'll be going through the other two kids' gift ceremonies, then I'll be doing some short chapter stories with them, Y/n and Bruno, and the rest of the family!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Clara! Come down for breakfast!"

Y/n's middle child and only daughter jumped out of her bed, excitedly bounding down the stairs to the dining room. "Buenos dias, Mama!" she said with a huge smile on her face.

"Hola, Clara. I sense you're excited for today?" said Bruno with a smile. (A/N: Bruno [an empath] sensing Clara is excited: )

"Yes Papa!" she said, grabbing some food from her Tia Julieta and heading to the table.

"Today's a big day," said her favorite cousin, Camilo.

"Indeed," said Abuela, sitting at the head of the table. "Let's hope the new gift brings joy to the family and to the village." Her voice was cold and formal, but Clara ignored her.

Once everyone had begun eating, Clara began getting questions. "What kind of flowers do you want?" "What flavor should the cake be?" "Any preferred snacks?" "What about the frosting?"

She answered them all, but she was a little surprised. She had always thought much of the planning was done for the child being gifted, but she realized now she was wrong.

Next thing she knew, Clara was being dressed up for the ceremony while the courtyard outside was being adorned in her favorite colors (blue and pink!). Her mother stood back, admiring her daughter with a dreamy look on her face. "You look beautiful, hija."

Clara turned to look in the mirror. She wore a knee length white dress, with white legging and a white jacket. Everything was white, except for a small pink flower over her heart. She recognized the handiwork on that particular detail as her prima Mirabel's.

Slowly, Clara smiled. "Yeah... I do."

Soon enough, guests began arriving at the ceremony. They were greeted by Mirabel and Luisa as they walked in the door, and Clara watched as everyone streamed into the courtyard. Unlike her older brother, Clara wasn't nervous at all about her gift. She knew whatever she got, it would be awesome.

She turned around, heading down the stairs into the designated area for the special child. Nobody was supposed to see her until the ceremony began, which kind of bummed Clara out, but she put up with it. There would be plenty of time for partying, talking, and eating later. Besides, it made her reveal more dramatic this way.

Finally, the time came. Her parents and brothers appeared in the room to wish her good luck.

"You're going to do great, Clara," said Y/n.

"It's not as terrifying as it seems," offered Marco.

You're the only one who was terrified, thought Clara with a mental eye roll. She loved her brother, but his nervousness annoyed her sometimes. Out loud, she said, "I'm ready."

"Good luck," said Bruno as they left the room. "Not that you need it."

Papa was right. Clara didn't need luck. She stood up a little straighter as the curtains opened, and a spotlight shone on her face.

The whole town was looking at her as she walked confidently down the path laid out for her, and she loved it. She reached the top of the stairs, where her Abuela was holding the candle that held the miracle.

Once her abuela had done her whole speech about being responsible with the miracle, she held the candle out to her granddaughter, who reached out with both hands and touched it. She could feel the heat of the flame in her fingers, despite the wax that acted as a barrier.

She could almost swear she felt the magic inside the candle- but then it was pulled away from her. She then turned to her door, built by the Casita next to her brother's.

She slowly reached out and touched the handle, watching in amazement as fiery light spread out from under her hand, forming an image on the surface of the door.

It showed Clara, with images of herself on both side of her, getting smaller and smaller as the rows continued on behind her.

Strange, she thought. What did that mean about her gift?

Clara looked closely at the image as the whole courtyard held its breath. She tried to feel some connection to the magic, some way of knowing what she was meant to do. She reached out and touched the door again, this time the image itself.

Then, her hand was joined by an identical one.

Clara turned, surprised, to see a mirror image of herself. Just as she was, looking back at her. Somehow she knew, this wasn't Marco or Camilo messing with her. This was her. All her.

"Cloning," she said. "My gift is cloning!" she announced, turning to the crowd in the courtyard below.

As she did, a cheer rose up from below her. She turned to open her door as people began to rush up the stairs.

The interior of Clara's room was nice, with high ceilings like all the others and lots of open space. Her bed was in the corner, an enormous pink four-poster with translucent blue curtains and canopy draped over it. The walls were covered in mirrors, which, when people went to look at themselves in them, started to show each a different thing pertaining to that person. One may show someone's favorite animal, while another would replay their favorite memory before their eyes.

Clara couldn't believe how beautiful it was. She loved it already, and she hadn't even moved in yet.

Soon, the real partying began. Marco created illusions of rainbows above the dancing, while all the adults whirled around on the dance floor. Clara cloned herself several times and enjoyed all aspects of the celebration to the fullest

Once the night was over, Clara knew she had been right about tonight. It had all gone well, just as she had known it would.

That night, Clara's parents fell asleep laughing together and talking about all the different things they had seen in Clara's mirrors. Particularly, they had taken turns using the mirror of favorite moments, and for a minute they thought it hadn't worked, since it hadn't changed between the two of them.

For both of them, it showed them dancing in the moonlight, fireflies around them as they spun and laughed.

A/N: Did something kind of different with this ceremony, I tried to be a bit more descriptive and actually do it more from the kid's perspective. Hope you enjoyed this chapter, see yall later!
