October 26th 2020So back to what I was saying, this could be us but you're playing, this could be us but you're playing..
As Ashley walked into the room that was packed with footballers, friends and family of Jack and Amber, her eyes casted over the certain types of females that literally come to these kinds of parties to grind over someone they could potentially take home for one night, the smell of cheap perfume and expensive alcohol clouding her nostrils.
"Ashy" Mason smiled, as he draped an arm around her shoulders, as Mia held an arm around Masons waist. "Why have you only just got here? We've been going for hours" Mia sang, as Ashley continued to scan her eyes across the crowd for her friends who were actually getting married, but all she could see was Amber talking to Declan, or giving him a stern telling off as her finger waggled at him, causing Ashley to laugh slightly.
"What's he done then?" Ashley smiled, as Mia passed her a glass of champagne. "Down it and I'll tell you" Mia smirked, as Ashley rolled her eyes, but did what her friend was telling her, knocking it back in one, as Mason clapped his hands laughing. "He tried to play football, down another and I'll tell you what he broke" Mason smirked, as Mia handed her another glass, an overly playful grin on her face, but Ashley did it, knocking the drink back in one, she didn't really care what Declan had broke with his football, but after the afternoon she had, had with Jordan, she was more than happy to be on everyone else's levels.
"You know, he broke a vase, but anyway, what I was saying" Mia mumbled, as she tried to think of what she had originally wanted to say to her friend, giggling and running a hand through her hair. "Oh yeah" Mia giggled. "Everyone was talking about how you and Chilly have matched" Mia smirked, as Ashley looked at her friend with wide eyes, slightly confused at what she meant. "I have no idea what you're on about, Mase please make sure she drinks some water, it's not even nine yet" Ashley mumbled, as she grabbed another glass of champagne, leaving Mason and Mia dancing, arm in arm, as Mia rested her head on his chest, Mason smiling down at her. "Oh and Mase?" Ashley questioned as she turned around, Mason looking over at his friend. "Put a ring on it" Ashley smirked, as Mason blushed a deep shade of red, before Ashley continued her walk to Amber.
"Girl is glowing" Ashley sang, as she hugged Amber, Amber smiling at her. "Says you! Where have you been you took your time" Amber smiled, as Ashley shook her head smiling. "I'm here now ain't I" Ashley smiled, as she spotted Jack in the corner of her eye, sneaking up on his fiancée, a massive smile plastered on his face as his hands snuck around her waist. "Here's my girl" Jack smiled, as he pressed his lips to Ambers cheek, Ashley watching as she smiled, laughing and leaning into his chest, Amber smiling at the happy couple.
Spin the bottle, spin the fucking bottle, if you reason why it's empty, baby spin the bottle, truth or dare baby you don't want no problems.
"Ash, I think you need a drink" Declan smiled, as he wrapped an arm around Ashley, pulling her with him, despite the half full glass of champagne in her hand. "Which vase did you brake then?" Ashley smirked, as Declan rolled his eyes. "Shouldn't of been on the fireplace" Declan mumbled, as he passed Ashley a shot of tequila. "Best of three?" Declan smirked, as Ashley shook her head. "I think you all want me drunk" Ashley laughed, but continued to do the shot with Declan, before she placed the lemon in her mouth, making a sour face. "No fiancée then?" Declan smirked, as Ashley shook her head. "Busy work schedule" Ashley smiled as Declan nodded his head slowly. "So he wouldn't let you come watch sweaty footballers okay football alone, but will let you have a night with them drunk, makes a lot of a sense" Declan smirked, as Ashley rolled her eyes.
"Spin the bottle!" Mason shouted across the room, as Ashley rolled her eyes, she knew she didn't want to get involved with their drunken games, but it wasn't long until she was sat in the circle, watching the bottle spin around.
So back to what I was saying, money make the world go round, this could be us but you're playing, money make your girl go down, this could be us but you're playing..
"Ben, Ashhhh" Jack smirked, as he looked between his two friends. "Oh no, no" Ashley laughed, but she couldn't help but try and focus her gaze, trying to get rid of the feeling that she was flying, already feeling the alcohol spin around in her body.
"Rules are rulessss" Mason sang, as Ben smiled at him, shaking his own head. "You can't force her bro, that ain't fair" Ben smiled, giving a warm smile in Ashley's direction, making her stomach flutter.
"No, rules are rules, if you're not kissing, it's seven minutes in heaven" Mia smirked, as Mason and Mia exchanged a cheeky glance, as Jack smiled, nodding his head."Fine" Ashley mumbled, as she stood up from the circle, Ben following her to the other room. "I'll put the timer on!" Mia shouted, as the circle laughed between themselves, Ashley sighing to herself.
It was just seven minutes in a room, wasn't it?"The guys were commenting on my post earlier, they kept saying I was matching you" Ben smiled, as Ashley finally look in his appearance. A brown plaid shirt, with yellow shorts, she was a little confused as to why he opted for basketball shorts, but the fit suited him, and he looked good. "Oh, was they?" Ashley smiled, as Ben nodded his head, as the door shut behind them, Ben and Ashley standing inches apart from each other.
"So, are you a Chelsea supporter?" Ben smirked, as Ashley shook her head giggling. "I'm not no" Ashley smiled. "I remain mutual between the guys, I love them too much to choose" Ashley smiled. "And Jordan? It is Jordan isn't it?" Ben smiled, as Ashley looked down at her feet, playing with her hair.
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to-" Ben started, but Ashley shook her head looking up at him. "It's fine" Ashley smiled. "It's just a little complicated" Ashley stated, as Ben nodded his head.
But the alcohol Ben has consumed overtook his brain, and before her knew it, his hand was brushing Ashleys hair behind her ears, before his thumb traced her cheek. "Has he told you that you're beautiful lately?" Ben whispered, as his hand stayed on her cheek, Ashley looking up into his blue eyes. "You don't have to say that" Ashley whispered, but she couldn't pull her eyes away from his, holding the eye contact, as Ben let his tongue out to dampen his lips, his eyes darting from Ashley's eyes to her mouth and back.
"We can't do this, I have a fiancée" Ashley whispered, as she tore her eyes away from his, looking at the closed door behind them, as Ben sighed, nodding his head. "How about a kiss on the cheek and a follow on Instagram?" Ben smiled, as Ashley nodded her head, taking her phone from her pocket, following Ben on Instagram, as Ben did the same, following Ashley.
"Now a kiss on the cheek?" Ben laughed, as Ashley nodded her head, standing on her tiptoes, pressing her lips to his cheek, or so she thought, until Ben moved his face slightly, capturing her lips in his.
"Ben!" Ashley mumbled, as she held a hand to her mouth, as Ben looked at her with sorry eyes, realising what he had done.p
"I'm so sorry, it'll stay between us, I promise" Ben whispered, as Declan began banging on the door."Times up" Declan laughed.
