18. Carnival

Ophelia's mother would always tell her to plant hope in your heart and wait for love to grow. But she didn't think she will ever be in love. To be honest she didn't even think love was a real thing.

After her mother died the love she had went down the drain, disappeared, simply just left. But Is she's going to fall in love now,? She doesn't know.

Ophelia and Rafe were inside his truck driving, somewhere, absolutely no clue. The soft music played in the background. Rafe tapped his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat.

"Want a picture" Rafe smirked catching the girl staring at him.
"Nope" ophelia laughed. Rafe gassed playfully and put his hand to his heart.
"No?" He pouted teasingly.
"Shut up" Ophelia laughed. Rafes Heart was beating extremely fast. He was blushing.

They finally showed up to the place Rafe wanted to take them. He got out and ran to the other side so he could open the door for the girl.
"Where are we?" Ophelia looked.
"We are at the carnival my lady." Rafe put on a fake posh accent.
"Woah" Ophelia whispered quietly. Looking around the place.

There were beautiful lights everywhere. The after noon sun was setting. You could see all the little children running around crazy high with the sugar. It was amazing.
"We should hold hands...so we don't get lost" Rafe spoke out of nowhere.

"Or are you just trying to hold my hand" Ophelia smirked.
"What? Nah.No..... y- yeah" Rafe went red.
"Awe, I'll hold you hand" Ophelia smiled and grabbed his hand.

She lead him to the stalls.
"Ooo, let's get cotton candy" Ophelia smiled widely. Rafe smiled at her cuteness and lead the way to the stall. They both got their food and Ophelia took him to the Ferris wheel.

"Oh um. Maybe try another ride." Rafe looked at her nervously.
"Why?" Ophelia questioned.
"Um-I- it looks pretty high, don't you think?" He gulped.
"Oh my god. Your scared" Ophelia smiled.
"Wha- no. I'm not s- scared"he shrugged.
"I'll hold your hand" Ophelia held into him tightly and took him I to the line with a huge smile on her face.

Once it was their turn. The guy working there got ready to buckle them up.
"Oh my god we're gonna die" rafe whispered.
"Calm down" Ophelia laughed softly.

The wheel started moving and rafe quickly grabbed onto Ophelia's hand. He held it for dear life. Once they got to the top, they had to wait until other people got on.
"Fuck" rafe breathed out.
"Rafe. I'm right here. Your not gonna die" Ophelia smiled comfortably. Rafe nodded and squeezed her hand.

"Rafe look" Ophelia smiled at the boy clinging onto her. He looked up and saw the beautiful sunset. The clouds looked so fluffy. It was gorgeous.
"Holy shit" rafe gasped at the sight.

Once they made their way down and out of the Ferris wheel. Rafe took Ophelia's hand and began walking towards a near by bench. They both sat down and rafe looked at the girl, she was looking around in awe.

"Wanna play a game" he asked.
"Sure" Ophelia smiled at him.
"Ok, let's play 21 questions. He suggested.
