26. Incognito

Ophelia and Rafe both ran towards the source of the sound. They walked towards the commotion and saw topper and John b fighting. There was a crowed of people chanting 'fight' repeatedly. Sarah and kiara were telling them to stop but they didn't listen.

"Hey guys were supposed to be incognito remember?" Pope scolded them.
"Yeah give it to him" JJ was cheering on John B.
Suddenly topper pushed John B into the water.
"Hey don't make me drown you like your old man alright."

Topper didn't know. He didn't know that Ophelia and John B were related. All the pogues and Dean, even rafe looked towards Ophelia knowing exactly what she was thinking right now.

Ophelia shook her head. She tried to tell her friends that she was ok. She was good at hiding her feelings, but when it comes to her parents, it never works.

Ophelia shrugged and watched the boys continue fighting. Rafe wrapped his arms around the girl. To make sure she wasn't alone. To make her feel like she could run to someone. Something she hasn't felt for years.

Suddenly she heard a gun clicking. She whipped her head to the side. She saw JJ standing there with a gun pointed at toppers head.
"JJ put the gun down" Sarah screamed.
"Sorry, did you say something princess?" He chuckled dryly

The crowed began to lessen. They were running from JJ. Rafe grabbed Ophelia's hand and was about to run with the crowed but she stopped him. He turned around to look at her. She shook he head no, softly. He understood why. Her brother was hurt. She had to go see him.

Rafe let her go to him. But he waited. He waited until she either came back or if he was sure she was safe. Ophelia ran over to John B. She lifted his head up and yelled at the other pogues to help her. Once they got John B into the van. They all got in. Expect for Ophelia.

"Lia. Get in" JJ called out"
"Um- I'm actually gonna go for a walk" she shrugged.
"What? No it's late" Dean protested.
"Dean, please" she shook her head. Dean understood that she needed some alone time. Hearing how topper talked to John B about their dad. And how she was scared she was gonna loose John b too. Dean nodded towards the group. Letting them know they need to let her go for a bit. They all nodded.

"I'll meet you back home" Ophelia smiled at Dean. Please make sure John b is ok. If not please call me." She stepped into the van, she kissed John b's head and whispered and 'I love you' to him. She turned around and hugged each one of the pogues. She hugged Dean for longer.

"I love you" Dean smiled at her.
"I love you more Dean" she kissed his forehead.

She walked out of the van and started heading the opposite direction.
"Lia, wait!" She heard someone yell at her. She stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"Lia." Someone was breathing deeply. Like they had been running.
"Oh my god I ran all the way over here" rafe laughed.
"Fuck, you scared the shit out of me" Ophelia laughed and put her hand up to her heart.
"Sorry. I wanted to ask you something" rafe smiled.

"What's that?" She asked.
"Did you wanna come over to mine?" He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Sure" she shrugged. Not really knowing where else she would've gone. Rafe smiled and took her to his car.

"Your car smells nice" Ophelia smiled at the scent.
"Thank you" rafe smiled. They both let out a chuckle.
Rafe began driving them both to his car. They both sat in silence. It was a comfortable silence though.

Once they got to his house. Rafe got out and quickly ran to the other side to open Ophelia's door. She smiled and muttered a soft thank you. Rafe grabbed her hand and took them both inside. The house was beautiful. Definitely bigger than her house. It had chandeliers every where.

"Ward and rose aren't here for a few days. They're on a date in the Bahamas." Rafe rolled his eyes. Ophelia stifled a small laugh.
"Oh, but Sarah and wheezie are here" he added. Ophelia smiled. Rafe lead them to his bedroom.
