Until now I couldn't stop thinking of what he said and how worried his eyes are. . . He really cares so much to me. . but why?
" Aira. Snap it out from your daydreaming I needed your full attention now. "
Beverly asked annoyed as she continuously snaps her fingers.
" Oh, yah okay sorry. "
I apologized as she continued saying her ideas for the play.
" Hey, Bev. If a guy who doesn't seem to worry about this girl suddenly started caring at this girl. . . what does that mean. "
I curiously asked as she gave me the 'seriously look'
" You are not even listening at all! "
She exclaimed
" Okay okay... But still does that have any meaning or?. "
I calmed her but was still in persistence for asking.
" Geez if my answer will bring you back to reality then fine. . . It's so freakin' obvious. That guy likes that girl. Now can you listen to me now? "
She asked but I completely froze to her answer. . . Zach like me? As in Zach Eleanor?
" Why is your nose turning red? "
Beverly suddenly asked. Which made me cover it using my finger.
" Is it? "
" Well, yah. Your nose is even redder than the nose of the clown who performed on my sixth birthday. "
She said over exaggerating. The dismissal came and I nervously took a bag of cupcakes from my locker.
'You're just giving this to him as a thank you gift nothing more nothing less.'
I said to myself as I take a deep breath and started walking into his classroom. Of course, I waited for all of his classmates to go out but as soon as I am about to approach him.
I saw a girl from their classroom's window constantly bumping her head on the wall like a weirdo.
" I'm so dumb. Emma gonna fail the quiz tomorrow. "
Chanting that word again and again until Zach approaches her and puts his palm on the wall where the girl's head keeps bumping into.
" Stop. That won't do you any good. "
Zach said as the girl stops and face him.
" Easy for you to say, you're a genius, you're nothing like me "
The girl said and take a step away and continued bumping her head on the wall.
" I'll teach you if you want. "
Zach said that made her stop again but now she looks at him with shimmering eyes.
" Really? "
They sat in the middle as Zach begins to bring out his notebook from his bag. . . They were the only student in their room and I sat at their corridor like garbage waiting for them to be done. Sunset started and the red romantic rays of the sun pass through the window giving them both romantic lightings.
' I get it. He's just normally nice to everyone. He's the school's heir after all. '
I take a long sigh and finally leave. I'm so stupid, thinking that Zach would like me. I am his enemy. . .he'll never like me after all the things I've done. I should stop thinking such stupid things. . . it's just a waste of brain cells. I comforted myself but I still felt an unwanted pain in my chest.
