CHAPTER 18: Consequence

I wakes up when I felt something cold dropping in my skin. I sat and saw that it's starting to rain. I gaze at my side and saw Zach sleeping next to me using the mascot's head as a pillow.

" Hey wake up. "

I said as I taps him in his arms. Soon he wakes up also because of the rain. We quickly went into a shelter and sits on the bench.

" The rain is so kind today don't you think. "

I said as I stretched my arms out of the shelter feeling the rain at my hands.

" It's like gentle kisses. "

I continued.

Morning came and I went to school as always when suddenly I felt this creepy aura my classmates are giving me.

I just awkwardly took a seat and faced Beverly which is currently playing games in her phone.

" Hey, Bev. Why are they looking at me like that? "

I asked which made her turn off her phone.

" Aira. You should have already predicted this to happen. . . First, you took this school's only King which is Zach, and now you took the newly crowned prince which is Anthony. You left nothing to them so now face the consequences. "

She said directly and opens her phone and continued playing.

" Geez. . . are you not angry to me. If they're angry I so took Anthony or whatever. How come you're not like them? "

I curiously asked remembering her personality change when Anthony is transferring to our school.

" I only did that because of my sister's command but after her boyfriend breaks up with her she now forced me to be single forever so that my heart won't break like hers. . . I don't mind having a boyfriend at all. So don't worry. I'm by your side. "

She said that makes my heart warm.

" Augh Bev. You're so touching. I'm so grateful your brain is thinking sideways. "

I said which made her look at me again.

" What do you mean by thinking sideways? "

She said about to overreact again.

" Just think it as a compliment okay? "

I quickly said to avoid us arguing again.

" Hi, Aira. "

Anthony greeted me as soon as he comes in.

" Uhm hi. "

I just replied when I suddenly felt invisible knives stabbing me at my back.

" You are one pitiful soon-to-be-extinct kitten. "

Beverly warned while still playing on her phone. She has been so addicted to that game. I just gulped in threat. When I took some drinks on the vending machine with Beverly who is just playing her phone 24/7. I suddenly felt someone watching me but I didn't mind it at all. When we came back I felt something stinky on my seat. . . it's like a PEE?!

" What's that smell? "

Beverly also asked when she smells it in front of her desk.

" I think there's some pee on your seat too. "

I said worried about her reaction when suddenly I felt the background turns black and Beverly looks like she's possessed ready to kill anytime.

" Who-poured-pee-on-my-seat? "

She scaringly asked as she made her bones make a crackling sound in every neck bend she makes. All my classmates quickly point at Gina, my classmate.

" I-I didn't mean to. It was only supposed to be Aira when I accidentally spilled some on your seat too! Believe me! "

She explained horrified and scared to Beverly.

" Calm down Bev. "

I said which still did not make her calm. I took out my phone and click the game she is playing and gave her a gift I luckily took when I defeated a high-rank enemy. Her phone vibrates so she took it out.

" Oh wow! A very rare item! Thanks, Aira."

She said as she started playing her game again.

" So Gina. . . before Beverly became possessed again. You better correct your mistake. "

I warned which made her quickly stand and start pouring alcohol and disgustedly wiping our desk. Thankfully we left our bag in our locker.

Now we are comfortably sitting in the most hygienic chair here in our classroom. Guess she's broke now wasting her allowance for buying all the alcohol she used.

When dismissal came. Zach texted me to volunteer for community service. Which I did since complaints aren't allowed.
