I watched her leave the school from the second floor of the school building. I never saw the darkest shade of grief like hers. Even if she deceives everyone from her fake smiles and even fake intentions. She can't hide the fact that she hates this school so much from me. I search for Zach in his classroom but he was not there so I went to the rooftop hoping he could be there. . . which he is.
I push the half-opened door and saw him burning a paper which I assume was the contract.
" Burning that contract won't solve anything. "
I said that made him glance at me.
" So she told you about it "
He said but with no interest if I explain how or not.
" Didn't you wonder why she did what she did? "
I asked looking as the contract slowly turns into ashes.
" She doesn't want to tell. . . so as her victims. "
He just said looking at the floor as the wind wipe the ashes that were left.
" Perhaps she has a good reason."
I added.
" Is there any good reason to destroy other's life? "
He asked now looking at me.
" But aren't you curious? "
I still asked.
" I don't. Now that she's gone. I don't want to trouble about it anymore. "
He said and headed to the exit.
" That's a waste. I saw her entering a Mental Facility the other day when I followed her. . . guess I'll go there alone to find out myself. "
I just said that made him stop. I smiled knowing what will happen next.
The next day we entered the mental facility I was talking about. We headed to the counter.
" Yes? How may I help you? "
The nurse asked politely
" Uhm we are sent here by our friend but she forgot to mention to whom we are going to give these flowers. "
I said innocently lying as I show her a bouquet of pink roses
" Oh, a pink roses. I can tell your Aira's friend. "
She said as she was getting something below the counter.
" Yes, we are. "
I just said.
" Then you both are going to visit Hanna Perkins. "
She said as she gave us a folder.
" Hanna Perkins? "
Anthony asked again.
" Why? Do you know her? "
I asked Anthony since he looks shocked.
" No. I just happen to see her folder at the principal's office. . . She's was one of our school's students until she attempted suicide. "
Anthony explains which starts to clear up some mystery.
" List your names below and then you're good to go. "
The nurse continued. As we list our names I asked the nurse some questions.
" Is Aira visiting here every day? "
I asked.
" Yes. She told me they were best friends. "
She said as I gave her back the folder. Best friend? She never talks anything about it to me.
" Her room is on the third floor at the far corner on the 9th door. There are names on the door so you will easily find it. . . and you only have 15 minutes to visit. That's the hospital rule. "
She instructed us.
