After packing the last box, Noah realizes something.
He really hates packing.
He looks around at his nearly empty apartment and sadness hit him. He's lived in this same town his whole life, and now he's just up and leaving it behind.
He's leaving Dixie behind.
Noah has considered asking her to come with him, but he knows he couldn't do that to her because her entire life is here.
So instead he puts on a happy face, because deep down, he is actually happy that he got the scholarship. He's worked his whole life for this, he wasn't just going to give it up.
Not even for Dixie.
