It'd been a whole weekend since that night and I hadn't really gotten up to do much.

That was probably the worst hangover I had ever had in a long time.

I honestly forgot about what Mattheo did, I shouldn't have been surprised. That's who he was. And I did underestimate him. Fuck me for that.

My friends came in to check on me but most of the time, I was asleep. I realized that I needed more then just a few hours of sleep.

I checked the time which read '10:45'. My eyes widened as I looked to see that nobody was up yet and we had to be at breakfast in 15 minutes.
"Guys! Wake up! We have fifteen minutes until breakfast!" I shouted and they all sat up startled.

"Okay okay!" Daphne said as she stood up and ran to use the bathroom first. "Shit!" Pansy mumbled as she ran up to her wardrobes to pull out clothes.

"Oh, fuck!" Meredith groaned. "What is it?" I looked over at her in my mirror as I fixed up my hair.

"I got my period.." she bit her nails furrowing her eyebrows looking down at her pearly white sheets now covered in blood.

"Do you need help cleaning up..?" I turned to face her.

"No, of course not. I think I'm just going to skip today." She said.

Daphne and Pansy finished getting ready and we started making our way down to the great hall for breakfast.

I sat down beside Pansy and across Daphne who was sitting with Adrian. Enzo was sitting by Adrian which was weird because he would usually sit with Pansy.

"I know right now may not be the perfect time, but I wanted to apologize for everything again. I understand now why it was hard to speak up. I should have asked you what was wrong. I don't know how I could be so—oblivious! I'll apologized a thousand times if it means I'll have my best friend back." Pansy told me with a saddened expression.

"It's okay. I forgive you." Was all I could say right now.

"Okay.." she sighed

"I promise. You should start by telling me about your Gryffindor friend, Hermione." I raised my eyebrows at her changing the subject,

She almost spit out her drink into her cup as if she was scared of hearing her name. "Oh! Yeah yeah, she's been a really good friend in helping me study for ongoing tests lately.." She chuckled.

"I thought you hated Gryffindors?" I then furrowed my eyebrows at her. "I did, but they really aren't so bad. Just don't mention it to anyone." She lowered her voice.

"I won't." I chuckled.

"By the way, who did Meredith stay with the night after the party? I didn't see her when i came back to our dorm.." I turned to everyone.

Everyone shrugged their shoulders as Draco had formed a smirk on his face. I had a disgusted look already formed, "Aw no. I feel terrible for her. Can't imagine what you put our poor friend through, Malfoy." I said in a disappointed tone shaking my head.

"Can't imagine what Mattheo Riddle would think when he finds out you weren't always confident." He said nastily.

"Can't imagine what Mattheo Riddle would think when he hears the way you talk about me." I tilted my head at him.
