Maya "We have a new student joining us this year. Daniel Rosier." Dumbledore said out loud.
We all shot our attention to the front doors as he walked in. He'd already been sorted into Slytherin and in his robes.
He smirked at me and sat at the empty seat beside me.
"Let the feast—begin." Plates of delicious food appeared everywhere in front of our eyes.
"Sup Daniel." Blaise said as he nodded his head. "Sup." He nodded back as he added some food onto his plate. "You're the people I served at the Three Broomsticks." He added on. "Mm, yeah." Adrian said.
We all introduced ourselves properly and became friends with Daniel.
I noticed that he'd already been somewhat interested in me. I looked from the corner of my eye at Mattheo, who was glaring at me. What did he want?
Maybe I could use Daniel as a distraction to get over Mattheo. He seems alright..
I still couldn't believe we were over.
I found out I had classes with all my friends, including Daniel. I wondered if I had any with Mattheo. A part of me hoped so.
"What do you think of Daniel? He seems cute." Pansy said as she put her clothes away.
"He is cute. He seems cool, but I don't know about his vibes. Just not my type after.."
"Mattheo." Daphne finished.
"You- what?!" Pansy said shocked.
"Oh right! You didn't know because you were too busy spending time with your girlfriend." I scoffed. "Well what's wrong with that?" She asked. "Hm, nothing. Nothing." I said shrugging.
"Okay well what's the deal with Riddle??" She slowly walked towards me.
"We dated. For real."
She stood silent for a few seconds with a paranoid look on her face. "Come on, Pansy. Don't give me that look. You don't see Daphne freaking out or anything.."
"Maya, what if- what if he did something to you? What would you do then?!"
"Well he wasn't! He loved me..he wouldn't nor did he."
"Okay so how'd it end?"
"He said...he didn't love me anymore. That's all."
