Today had been the day me and Mattheo had our o.w.l exams.

Today, we didn't talk at all because he hadn't showed up to any of our main classes or even the great hall to eat.

I shouldn't even be worried about his whereabouts. But I really was.

Why does he always skip? I know he knows everything, but still. He should be with me, because I'm supposed to be his 'girlfriend'.

Mattheo
I sat at the long, black dining table in a finely cushioned black chair in front of him. My father had summoned me to the Malfoy Manor where he's been staying at more than our own.

"Have you brought me any news, my son?" He asked me as he entwined his hands together.

His snake slithered around the whole entire table looking straight into my eyes like it was going to kill me. I've never been scared of his stupid snake. If I had the chance to, I'd kill Nagini myself.

"No. I have not." I said to him. "When will you?" He replied frantically.

"I think it's better for me to gain the girls trust before I do anything. Don't you think, father?" I tried to negotiate with him. I really hated to have these types of conversations. He's made me do the worst things possible instead of doing it himself. "Very well. I give you until—the end of next year—to kill the girl. I—will kill her parents." He finished.

I didn't want to kill her. The thought of killing her or seeing her dead made me want to puke.

I've never felt like this. I never had a Problem killing people before, why do I now? Not people, her.

My fists balled up as my fingernails dug deeply into my skin, the same spot, feeling the blood drip through.

My blood seeped through my fists and onto the floor.

"Yes, father." I said as I stood up and left.

I arrived back at Hogwarts and made my way to Snape's room to take that dumb exam. I already knew everything and if I didn't pass I didn't care because then I could leave this school.

I walked in and saw Amaya sitting in her seat playing with a quill.

I'd never really seen her in anything other than her school clothes. She wore light blue baggy ripped jeans at the knees with a basic graphic tee.

Snape gave us both our parchments and allowed us to start.

A few hours went by and I finished earlier than she did. "Pass." Snape said to me before letting me leave his room.

I kicked my shoe up on the wall beside his classroom and leaned on it, smoking a cigarette and waiting for Amaya to finish.

I had no reason to wait, did I? I did—so I could gain her trust for this mission. That's totally all it is.

Not even ten minutes later, I was starting to get impatient and wanting to leave. I needed to know that she passed because I'm the one who helped her.

I put out my cigarette and threw it on the floor ready to leave the halls. But just before I did, she finally came out.

"Did you pass?" I turned to ask her as she closed his class door. "Mhm. Thanks." She said forcing a smile. "What's wrong, Esmeray?" I sighed loudly as we walked.
