Under the stars,
he runs at me,
his breathing
growing heavy.'Did you find one?'
I asked.'No,' he wore the sky
as a cloak with the stars
sliding down:
I witnessed some stars shooting
down.
A disaster?
No, they turned into petals
before kissing the earth.'I met a girl who
understands me,'
his voice fluttered
like a Nightingale's.
Tempest dissolved
and left a serene sea
singing him a lullaby.I felt at ease,
at last, my work is done.
He'll find peace
with that girl
who'll uproot his darkness
that once was etched on his soul.'I am happy for you.'
I smile at him.'Thank you for always
being there for me!'
he held my hands
as I turned to go,
but there was warmth
that spread throughout my body
like summer.'I will watch over you.'
I roughed his hair.He smiled like a star
that's found solace
in watching over
a fish in an abandoned
pond.'Farewell!'
I take a last glance.
My dear, how much has he grown
from being a disheveled gloom
to becoming a flower that blooms.I cried that night,
the moon is witness.
I turn off the light
as my heart feels
a chord pulling strongly.This distance,
forever,
is too painful.
