A Petalful of Words

'I won't confess to you

like they all do.'

a boy, breathing heavily, said.

'I don't know how sweet your voice is,

for, I never got to hear it.

But I'm sure it's wonderful.

Even if you can't speak,

your smile dancing on my eyes,

your eyes dipped in rainbow,

your hair flowing like a water fall,

your arms promising me comfort,

I will still

not stop

loving you, my autumn flower!'

I dropped on my knees

when my mom wrote this piece

of confession and cried.

He was there, looking at me

with such warm eyes

that I could not

look into his eyes

frequently.

I wrote on the back of the letter:

'Then please love me

like no other loved,

and let me be a part

of your happiness.

I love you for your loveliness.'
