Losing Gem (1)

Under the moon,
this boy with a soaked heart,
tells me to wait
a bit longer.

'Why don't you tell me?'
I patted his shoulders.

'I don't know anymore,'
he said in his starless voice.

His eyes reflect chaos,
chaos strong enough to rattle stars and inflict dominion
over the moon's reflection.
He's in pain,
it's painful enough to
watch a fish flung out of the sea,
strike its tail in agony.
His heart dithers,
his hands freezing
deeper and deeper
crossing infinity.
I fear I'll freeze too.

'I know there's a better one out there.'
I whisper to his soul.

'Really?'
he holds my hands,
his eyes shining bright gold.

I nod hesitantly.

But his eyes
that bloomed a black rose
are now turning grey;
a storm enters his eyes
dissolving hope with
hopelessness.
