Chapter 1

"Wait!"

I walked fast as if I can't hear him. I'm so pissed early in the morning. It's been a week since I got a call from him just to see him laughing with my fucking enemy.

"Hey!"

I didn't stop. I walked out and now being chased by him.

Just as I thought of him chasing me then suddenly I can't hear him at my back anymore.

"Just because I am not a woman you'll treat me like this. After all the things that happened to us," mahina niyang sabi, sapat na para marinig ko.

I stopped and turned around to see him. He looks sad. There's something about his sad face that made me feel guilty.

I walked to where he's standing. 

Tumigil ako ng malapit na ako sa kanya. He closed his distance to me and in a swip move he put my hand on his waist. Hindi ako nakagalaw sa ginawa niya. 

"I'm a lawyer. I know how to make someone's guilty using my words." He whispered and wink at me.

He look up to me and smirked. When he pushed me a bit to make distance, his face turned sad again. He then walked passed by me and left.

I was left stunned and annoyed by what he did. I furiously followed him but he already left with his car.

I was mad glaring at his car when my phone beep. Two message from him and Fiona.

I open his message first without thinking and regret it afterwards so I deleted it without reading and read Fiona's message.

Fiona :

I missed you. Are you busy? How about a date?

I sighed before replying 'sure' and put my phone back on my pocket. I have many things to do but having a date with her isn't bad. I want to get away from work so much this days.

After eating, she excitedly drag me to somewhere. Obviously, shopping.

I sighed.

I'm not getting poor. What happened to my business didn't make me poor at all. My money's still a lot. Can even buy a person. Tumikhim ako.

"How about you buy the things you want and I sit over there." I said while pointing at the near bench.

She pouted a little but smiled later even though she didn't seem to want to shop alone. I sighed when she left but suddenly regret choosing to sit here with all this noisy people. Damn it.

It's an hour and half when she came back. Fuck this life. As soon as I saw her, I dragged her out of the mall.

I'm done for today. I swear not coming back in that hell anymore. It's better for me to sit my ass inside my office than sit in that noisy bench with those people.

"Are you okay? Sorry for taking too long. Hard to choose," she explained.

I'm trying to control my madness so I sighed.

"It's okay. Just pissed with the noise. I should've just come with you."

"Promise, I won't shop next time. How about Netflix and chill at my house?"

I doubt that. There's no way she'll stop the next time.

I'm quite the whole ride while Fiona's telling me about her day and the bag, shoes and dress that she bought.

"I want to spend the day with you but shopping is a bad idea. How about chilling in my room? She suggested.

She smiled widely as if she already know that I'll accept it. Unfortunately, I shook my head as an answer.
