Chapter 39

5 years later.

"How's the progress?" Nefferi asked while lifting a kettlebell.

I stopped running on a treadmill and walked to my bag to get my towel. I wipe my sweat first before turning around to see him.

"I'm still worried if it is really safe or not. Haven't heard about that other than surrogacy."

"Trust my wife, my man. She's been doing that for years now. Is Sebastian fine about that though?" Tanong niya.

I watched him walked to his bag and picked up a bottled water before I answered.

"He's being moody," buntong hininga ko.

"Two bloods in a month for him. It's really getting into him."

"If I can only take those two and not him. I'm curious why they only get one for me."

"It's your sperm. If I am right. They're taking blood from him so the kid will have both of your blood. Magiging kadugo niyo pareho ung bata. Parang katulad lang sa mga normal na mag-asawa.

I rolled my eyes. He talked as if we aren't normal.

I frowned, "that's it? And we'll have a child, just like that?"

"Yeah. I don't really know but it's proven and tested, so don't worry too much. So, is Seb fine?" Tanong ulit niya.

I nodded, "he's been moody and all but he's fine. They always took some test on him alone. Reason why I am worried a lot. Not only for him but for our child too."

"Come on, man. It'll only have a problem if one of you stop giving a blood and platelets for your child. As long as you can give your child what he or she needs, then everything will be fine." Si Nefferi at tinapik ako sa balikat.

Dumating si Charl at Senon galing sa Zumba na napagtripan ng dalawa na salihan. Nakakunot agad ang noo ng nila at sabay pang nang-usisa. Sinagot naman ni Nef ang mga tanong nila habang naglakbay naman ang isip ko sa kung saan.

Two months ago when we tried to have a child using the technology that Nefferi's wife invented. I don't trust it but Sebastian want that so I agreed to him. I'm getting worried for him and our child day by day. I don't want to risk both of them just to try that technology.

I'll blame anyone who'll put him and my child in danger.

I picked-up my phone on my bag to check if there's a text from him. When I saw more than one, I smiled. He's being moody but clingy at the same time. I like it but always get stressed on his mood most of the time. But when his mood turn good, wala akong pinoproblema. Pwera nalang kung bigla na namang mag-iba ang ihip ng ugali niya.

We've been together for five years now and I can say that we know each other more. We aren't perfect like other couples are. We fight and almost break up, which is my fault. Ginawa ko naman ang lahat para hindi iyon matuloy. And I never let that happen again.

As much as possible, I avoid to do the same mistake again. It never happen like what I want and we've been doing fine up until now.

Through my hard work, I gain what I deserved. I finally become one of the richest bachelor and tycoon in business world. At the age of twenty six, I become successful. I have a lot of ups and downs but I didn't give up. I man up for what I wanted just to have him after all my hardship.

Only one important thing is left for me to be contented in life. And that's, marrying him. Making him my own fully.

It'll happen now after all my hardship to be successful just to own him for good. It's all because of the fact that he'll be mine in the end.
