Chapter 20

"Fuck work!" I irritatedly said while signing all the papers in front of me.

I have a tower of papers in front of me after sitting in the conference for two hours. My day is already full and I need to have an overtime.

This is what I get for not doing some work this passed months. It's because of the fact that I found that I have an amnesia. And also, I chose to be with Sebastian this month.

I honestly don't need to do this but I am a man of work. I do my own work alone than let my men do it for me. I'm not as lazy as Senon. And I'm not upset over the papers. I'm actually upset by myself. I'm upset because I missed Sebastian so much. He got home to baby boy, he's been there for a week now. It's fine to me but I can't help but missed him.

I heaved a deep sighed as I leaned my back on my swivel chair. I want to text and call him but I promised to myself not to bother him while he was with his baby boy.

I looked up and stared at the ceiling. It's a good thing that I didn't triggered any memory while he was away.

A knocked suddenly stop my thoughts but I didn't bother to looked who it was. I can clearly hear the loud sound of my mom's stilettos which annoyed me.

"Brixensius," malambing niyang tawag sa akin.

Tamad akong nagbaba ng tingin sa kanya. Hindi nagtagal lumipat ang tingin ko sa nasa likod niya. She's with a woman and kid. I frowned.

"What's going on?" Tanong ko.

I don't like the fact that dad isn't around this time. Of all time that I need him.

Geez, old man. Where the fuck are you?

"I know you don't remember her. And I'm done hiding her. Also, she's here to stop your craziness over that man."

Tumaas ang isang kilay ko, "uh-huh, now what?"

Another stunt from my mother. I'm so done with her but I better listen to her now. My father isn't around so I don't have anyone on my side.

"This is, Leah," pakilala niya sa babae. 

I looked at the woman who have a straight face right now. She doesn't look so friendly to me. Not desperate enough to get my attention. I stand up to introduce myself politely when my head suddenly hurts. Not as painful as the last time but it's enough for me to closed my eyes tight as pain passed through my head.

"Brix!" Mom said in a panicked.

Hindi ko pinansin ang pagtawag niya at nagpokus sa pagpapaalis ng sakit sa ulo ko. I can hear voices again and one of those is mine. Only my voice I can hear clearly.

Iminulat ko ang mga mata at agad nagtama ang tingin namin ng babae. She look so worried while looking at me. My eyes then shifted to the boy beside her. We got the same dark brown eyes. I never look at my eyes in the mirror but I can tell in one look that we have the same eye color. But other than that, he look like his mom.

I have a mixed thought until I came up with one which I figured why mom brought them here. Napatingin ako kay mom na may malambing na ngiti sa akin. I shooked my head in disbelief.

No way!

I know well that it can be but I can't accept it for some reason. I triggered memory from hearing her name.

"Are you for real?" I asked my mom in disbelief. 

When I looked at the woman, I can see sadness on her eyes. The kid who have the same eye color as me have the same expression. After awhile, the woman turned back her straight face as she face my mother.
