Chapter 38

After sitting on a plane for six hours, I ride a speedboat for thirty minutes and finally arrived at Thulusdhoo Island. I got an email from Senon that Sebastian's here. I just hope he didn't leave yet. I felt a little sick and tired for a long trip. I had a half day of work but doesn't have enough sleep.

I planned on looking for him first before I rest when I saw him the moment my feet landed in the sand. He was talking with a man with a smile on his face. My face darkened while watching them. Jealousy spread in my whole system. I don't like seeing him talking that way to another man other than me.

I never felt that jealous ever since we started dating. Now that I felt it, I don't like the feeling.

When I got near them, I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my hand on his stomach. I felt him stiffened especially when I kissed him on his shoulder. The man immediately left us after that as if he isn't enjoying talking to him awhile ago. He turned around to see me. My eyes is still on his front where the man's standing earlier. My jaw tighten while thinking how I see them earlier.

They aren't that close. Nothing to be jealous at. Just the fact that he talked to the man with a smile on his face made me jealous. I don't like seeing him that way with another man.

"Why are you here?" He asked while still shocked seeing me.

"Why are you talking to that man?" Tanong ko pabalik.

He frowned, "I bumped into him and say sorry. He just asked me for a way."

I'm still mad and for the fact that he bumped to that man because he was looking elsewhere while walking makes me more irritated.

"You aren't busy anymore to come here?" Masigla niyang tanong kalaunan.

Bumuntong hininga ako at isinantabi ang selos. I hugged him tight and kissed the top of his head. I missed him so much and his smell makes me want to sleep. I can feel that I can fall asleep hugging him. Sebastian noticed it so he dragged me to where he was staying. It's a cottage for one person. I got curious where his Tita staying.

"She's in the cottage next to mine," aniya.

Dinala niya ako sa kwarto. Agad kong inilibot ang tingin sa loob. Malinis at mabango ang loob. Ang mabangong amoy niya ang sumalubong sa akin. Lalo akong nakaramdam ng antok kaya naman pabagsak akong nahiga sa kama. Natawa si siya sa akin habang itinatabi niya ang backpack ko. Tumihaya ako at sinenyasan siyang lumapit. Nang lumapit siya, hinila ko siya pahiga sa akin.

"I'm so tired and sleepy," malalim ang boses kong sinabi.

Umangat ang ulo niya galing sa dibdib ko. "Matulog kana muna."

"Don't leave." I said before closing my eyes.

The sick, tiredness and his smell made me sleep. I let the darkness dragged me as soon as I closed my eyes.

I woke up in a really good shape. This past few weeks that I don't have enough sleep is paid off in one sleep. My eyes immediately searched for him the moment I opened it but I didn't see him.

Agad akong tumayo at naligo bago lumabas ng kwarto. Nakita ko naman siya agad pagbaba sa five steps na hagdan. Nasa mini kitchen siya ng cottage, nagluluto habang may kausap sa cellphone.

"He's still sleeping. I'm so guilty that he needs to fly for six hours. Leaving isn't a good idea. Although, I just leave to have vacation with Mama Nes."

Huminto ako sa hamba ng pinto ng kusina at humalukipkip. I don't like that I made him feel guilty. I didn't mean to make him feel that way. I just really want to talk to him and settle our problem.
