Chapter 29

I fainted after kneeling for so long under the heavy rain. I ended up in the hospital for two days having a high fever. I woke up after that with my parents and friends waiting for me to wake up.

"Finally, you're awake!" Naiiyak na sabi ni mom.

She hugged me tight before she left because the doctor wants to talk to them. Dad's already outside. I was left with my friend, fiona and Leah. I'm silent as I tried to sit. Charl helped me to sit.

"Don't move yet. You idiot! You made me worried!" Reklamo niya.

I sighed and glanced at Nef's who doesn't have any emotion right now. He's silent as he watched me.

"Where's Sebastian?" Agad kong tanong.

They went silent because of my that. I remember then what happen.

"Think about yourself. Get well," Nef coldly said before leaving.

"Don't mind him. You know that he's just mad but he really got worried about you. It's your fault anyway," si Charl.

"Stop blaming him! It's not his fault. Sebastian just hope too much." Si fiona.

"Hope what?" Tanong ko.

"Fiona, will you shut the fuck up? He needs to rest." Alma ni Charlito.

Agad kong tinabig ang kamay niya at tumingin ng seryoso kay fiona.

"Hope what?" Ulit ko.

"There's gossip floating around school that he likes you and he thought that there's something special between you and him." Si Leah.

"Don't worry about it. I already stop those students who thought of that." Charlito explained.

"But it's too late. They bullied him. They thought he's delusional. That, that's what he gets for home schooling all this years." Dagdag ni Leah.

"It's true though. That's what he gets for doing that to you. How dare him slapped you and even embarrassed you in front of everyone." Maarteng sinabi ni fiona.

I got worried because of that. I was about to stand up when Charl stop me. I want to get away from him but I'm too weak to even lift a finger.

"Get out," may banta sa boses ni Charl na sabi sa dalawa.

They want to stay but scared, they leave eventually. Charlito lay me in the bed after that.

"Coming near him won't be good. You should stay away from him." Seryoso niyang sabi kalaunan.

"That's my fault. I need to clear his name. It's not him who likes me. It's the other way around," mariin kong sanabi. 

He sighed, "I know. Pero lalo lang lalala 'yong sitwasyon kung lalapit ka sa kanya. Senon's been in a very bad mood this days. Bullying stop, you know but his madness still continued. Those who dared hurt Sebastian will be kicked out of the school. Tita Nes doesn't even care if no one comes to her school anymore."

Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig dahil sa narinig. Hindi ko alam kung anong unang iisipin. Lalo lang sumakit ang ulo ko dahil sa nalaman.

"You know that Senon is a good friend but worst enemy, right? And what you did to his brother makes you become an enemy to him. Kung wala ung mga tauhan ng dad mo, napatay kana non. Nung sumama loob ni Sebastian sa'yo at umiyak. Hindi siya nakahinga ng maayos. Pareho kayong nasa hospital pero nakalabas siya agad. Alam mo ba pinagkaiba niyo? Siya, masasakit na salita at pambubully ung natanggap habang sa'yo, puro awa. If I were Senon I'll be really mad at you either." Mahaba niyang sinabi.
