Chapter 9

I came to Caribbean with eighteen hours of flight and a little sleep just to be slapped by the truth.

"Sebastian isn't with us. Senon didn't told you?" Si Alexandria.

I violently messed my hair while sitting in the couch. I thought I could see him before this day ends but it turns out that he wasn't here. I wasted time on coming here when Sebastian's in the Philippines.

"You didn't told him that Sebastian isn't with us?"

Napaangat ako ng tingin at nakita si Senon na sinesermunan ng asawa.

"I was about to tell him but he ended the call." Tamad niyang paliwanag.

I glared at him, "you idiot, you can just text me about it."

"I was so mad at you for ending the call so I didn't told you. Serves you right for dropping the call before me." Senon shrugged.

I want to punch his face if only his wife isn't with us.

"You're so immature. He came here for Seb. He must be tired. What's wrong with you?" Mahinahon na sabi ni Alexandra.

"I'm sorry, alright. I did that but it's just for fun. I didn't know he'll come here right this instance after asking me." Si Senon sa asawa niya.

Alexandria sighed before looking at me.

"Stay for a day to rest. You look so tired and doesn't have any sleep."

I immediately stand up from the couch. I can't waste another day to stay here.

"I need to go," sabi ko at nginitian si Alexandria.

"You've been in a flight for eighteen hours and you want to leave again. Rest. Seb isn't going anywhere. Call him now. Go home tomorrow." Pinal niyang sinabi.

I don't have a choice but to listened to her. I didn't call Sebastian like what they said because I turned off my phone. My mother will flooded me with call and text if I open it. I did rest and sleep. The next day, I flew back in the Philippines. 

As soon as the plane landed, I took a taxi to be in his condo. The ride was fast so I came so fast in his condo building.

When I came out of the taxi, I saw him standing in front of the entrance. I would've approach him the moment I saw him but stop when I saw his emotionless face. It isn't the first time I saw him emotionless.

I didn't get close and preferred to just stand not far from them. There are men around him who I think his guards so that my mother and fiona won't hurt him.

"I already told you that he isn't here. Is that hard to understand? I don't like repeating something I already said yesterday. If you don't believe me then feel free to stand there and wait for him to come out. That's, if he'll really gonna come out from here." Aniya.

I sighed violently and walked to their direction. They didn't noticed me so I stop on my mother's back.

Agad nagtama ang tingin namin ni Sebastian.

I sighed, "mom, why are you here?"

I don't need to explain anymore. As soon as they turned at me. They can guess that I wasn't really here like what they thought.

"Brixensius," si mom na halata pa rin ang gulat sa muka.

"You're barking at the wrong person. What the hell is wrong with you?"

"That's because you were gone for two days now and I was worried!" Utas niya.

"For a thirty years old man, you mean. Do I look like a child to you? Can't I have my own life now without you pestering me?" I said icily.
