Of course, Wu Xi knew, that Fatty just found himself a job to give both of them some space. To give him some time alone with Zhang but at the moment he didn't even really care – to clean the wound and stop the bleeding was his priority.

So, Wu Xi opened the first aid kit to get a compress and soak it in water. Then he tried to swipe the blood away as gently as possible. He didn't want to use to much pressure, afraid that it might hurt Zhang. But he was sure to diligently clean the wound.

He was so concentrated, that he missed Zhang staring back at him.

Wu Xi let the compress sit on the wound, while he opened a new and dry one as well as a bandage. Knowing he had to do a proper job. At the beginning he thought that an easy wrapping might be fine but even with Zhangs fast healing body it might become lose and fall off, before the wound properly healed.

But he also couldn't make the bandage too restricting, Zhang needs to be able to use his hands freely in case of some emergency – and being real they always happen. So, allowing it to restrict his movements too much would bother him, and probably would lead him to unwrap it too early.

In order for the bandage to stay fixed Wu Xi had to wrap his hand from his fingers to slightly beneath his wrist. Following the desicion, he then gently swiped the new blood away with the wet compress, using the dry one now to cover the wound.

Only after that he started wrapping the wound up. He knew from experience that he had to use a bit of strength – but should be careful not to use enough to cut of the blood flow.

When he finished he properly taped the end down, so it wouldn't become undone easily and checked once again that it wasn't too tight.

Pleased with the result, Wu Xi began speaking again. "Don't take it off unless the wound is completely healed." He raised his head and tried to look Zhang in the eye but he was looking at the bandage instead. "I know you heal really fast, but even your wounds can get infected."

Wu Xi knew he was almost pleading Zhang to take care of himself. While Zhang was slowly moving his bandaged hand. Stretching his fingers, making a fist, turning his wrist and repeat. He was obviously checking if he could find any problem with it.

He could only hope that he wouldn't find anything too uncomfortable, and he nearly held his breath until Zhang stopped moving his hand around again. He didn't even know why he felt like this, normally that wasn't a big deal, just wrapping a bandage. And he was reasonably good at it too – well he probably had more practice than others.

Then why was he feeling so nervous, as if he was just before an important test?

Then Zhang slowly raised his head, looking at him. He was probably already fidgeting around somehow. He couldn't hold his stare and just allowed his eyes to fall.

Then he heard a small whisper, making him almost shiver.

"Thank you."
