Savanna hasn't spoken at all since what happened. I feel horrible.

My mother came in my room a little after the incident.

I told her about it and she freaked out.

We're on the train now. My mother sits across from me, and I hold Savanna in my arms.

She's still crying, she hasn't stopped crying.

I keep switching between anger and sadness, the tears come and go.

Nothing I say is making Savanna talk. I've told her i'm sorry, and that I love her, and that everything will be okay. But nothing has worked.

I'm petting her hair as she lays in my lap and my mother just looks at us both.

"This won't happen again." she says.

I run my hand through my hair, "You can't ensure that."

She shakes her head, "No, I can't. But you'll be home for a while and will be protected there."

"This is too much for her to handle." I say.

"Poor girl." my mother says, rubbing Savanna's arm.

"Why is Tom doing this to us?" I ask.

"He wants you to be afraid of him so you'll do what he wants."

Of course. He's trying to traumatize us into doing his biding.

But raping Savanna? That's too far.

He can hurt me and torture me all he wants. He could crucio me if he wanted to. I just can't stand to watch something happen to her.

I lean down, and kiss Savanna on the cheek, "We'll be home soon darling."

I throw my head back, rubbing my forehead.

I want to kiss her on the lips. I'm scared she won't like that after what she went through.

So I won't kiss her until she tells me to.

"Be patient Draco." my mother taunts.

The way i'm holding every emotion inside of me right now is horrendous.

"How long is he gonna do this shit?" I ask.

There's a slight pause while my mother thinks.

"Surely he won't plan anything else on you too." she says, "He's already done so much."

"I don't even want to think about what he's done." I mumble.

I'm disgusted with Tom and every sick and twisted thing he has done to hurt me or Savanna.

Luckily my mother says something that changes the subject.

"She's asleep."

"She's beautiful." I smile.

"I love that talking about her brings you such joy." she says, admiring both me and Savanna.

"She's incredible, mother."

"She certainly is. And strong too. Not many women can go through such trauma and pretend it never happened." she says.

Pretend.

I look my mother in the eyes, "I really love her. I love her so much it hurts."

She smiles, "I have a question."

I nod.

"If she died, would you take your life to be with her?" she asks.

"Yes." I say immediately, "She's the reason i'm alive right now mother. She'll never go through anything alone."

My mother kisses my forehead, "I raised you right. I'll be right back."

My mother leaves the carriage, closed the door behind her.

"Savanna darling. I know you're not talking. I'm so sorry. So very sorry. And when we get home, we're gonna go up to my room, and we're gonna dance. And we're gonna pretend together. Okay? We're gonna pretend."

I tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, and I notice she's still asleep.

"I love you." I add.

I squeeze Savanna's hand tighter when my mother opens the door to the manor.

I tell her to breathe. I wipe her tears so it doesn't look like she's been crying.

When we step inside and Savanna tugs on my hand towards the stairs.

I walk with her upstairs, but when we make it up Savanna's mother is glaring at us from the hallway.

Holding a newspaper rolled up in her hand.

"Come here Savanna." she says.

She lets go of my hand. I take her trunk with mine and place them in my room.

I hear them make their way into Savanna's room. I head over to the bathroom, with the door that connects to her room.

I put my ear against the door.

"What the hell is this?" her mother asks.

Oh shit.

She was holding a newspaper.

The pictures.

The ones of Savanna and I.

Savanna doesn't say a word.

"Huh? Savanna you cannot be doing that shit! You can't stand here and cry. This is your own fault."

I still don't hear a word from Savanna.

"You're a model. You're a woman. Start acting like it! You're supposed to be proper and modest. Don't walk around acting like a slut. Especially with Draco. You're gonna ruin everything for you both! You better straighten up."

"I'm trying to be a woman." Savanna mumbles.

Her mother scoffs, "Real funny."

Then there's a loud smack.

She hit her. Again.

"Listen to me Savanna. You dress how I want you to, you behave how I want you to. You are not going to ruin our family's reputation. If you do something else, i'll hit you harder." she scorns, "And you look like a train wreck. Go fix yourself."
