Ni-Ki
3/1/2019
Author's POV

Ni-Ki woke
up feeling energised,
(somehow).
He almost fully jumped
out of his bed
and walked to the kitchen
acting all zestful.

Riki sat in the living
room with a yummy
breakfast in his hand.
His parents did stare
at him a few times,
confused as to why
their son was acting
this way in the
morning.

The reason was,
well, I think everyone
sort of has an idea why.
Yep, it's got to do with
the almighty Jay.

Ni-Ki was thrilled,
ecstatic to go and meet
Jay and his friends today.
Especially after yesterday.

He got into the kitchen,
putting the plate
in the sink when he
saw his mother cleaning
out the cupboard.

"Mum, what are you doing?",
asked Ni-Ki.
"Oh, just cleaning out the
cupboard."
"Why...?"

His mother,
who's face was inside
the cupboard,
was now facing
her confused son.
"Well..."

Jay
Author's POV

It was now
after lunch.
Jay and all
his roommates were
now sitting in the
living room
watching a movie.

Jay had informed
his friends that Ni-Ki
was coming over.
His roommates didn't
mind at all really.

They've all been sitting
on the couch for about
20 minutes now.
Ni-Ki is supposed to be
coming in 10 minutes.

Jay kept on looking
back and forth towards
the TV and the clock,
checking how much
longer until Ni-Ki
is meant to knock on
the apartment door.

Jay was constantly
staring back and
forth until a rapid knock
pounded on the door.
Jay leapt up from the
couch, excitedly making
his way to the door.

Once he opened the
front door,
he welcomed the
person behind it.
"Hey Ni-Ki,"
Jay exclaimed.
"Hi hyung."
"Come in."

Jay of course had
to grab the younger's hand
to lead him to the
living room.

"Nice apartment,"
mumbled Ni-Ki.
Jay gave him a thanking smile
and then they both
entered the lounge room.

Ni-Ki shook hands
and greeted himself to
the others.
But someone stood
out to Ni-Ki.
It was someone that
looked familiar.

"Hey, it's Jungwon,
right?"
Ni-Ki said, before
Jungwon could
even introduce himself.
"How— oh! Wait!
Are you that boy
that was wandering
in the lobby, like,
2 weeks or so, ago?"
"Yeah!"

After a bit more
of greeting themselves
and all that stuff,
everyone comfortably
sat down and started
small talk.

"How do you know
Jungwon?"
Jay whispered to Ni-Ki.
"I met him on my first
day here. We met
in the lobby."
Jay nodded his head.

A few minutes passed.
Sunoo, who happened
to be sitting next to Ni-Ki,
turned over to him to
ask him a question.
