Author's POV

Last day till
Ni-Ki leaves.
Ni-Ki of course
doesn't want to
leave, but he knows
he has to.

Maybe in the future they
could move somewhere
just them two.
But for now,
a long distance
relationship is all
they can do.

The last thing Jay
wants to do is say
goodbye to Riki
for a second time,
and knowing that
the next opportunity
to see the younger
would be at least
four months.

Right now Jay and
Ni-Ki were both
sleeping away on
the blowup mattress.
It was quite early
in the morning
I would say.

About seven am.
No one was awake
in the apartment.
Everyone was quite
tired from last night.

They all went out
to some restaurant
and then they went
to a new karaoke bar
and honestly, the boys
had their fair share
of acting like an
animal last night.

Some people woke
up here and there,
having to go to the
bathroom or grab
a drink of water.

By the time the first
person woke up,
it was around
ten am.

And the first to wake
up was Jay.
He stayed lying down
on the mattress,
scrolling on his phone.

You know how
it's weird to stare
at someone while
they're asleep.
Jay, who was awake,
for some reason
kept on glancing
down at Ni-Ki
who was hugging Jay's
side as he slept.

Yes, Jay did find
Ni-Ki a bit cute.
Just a bit...
Ok, maybe a bit more
than that.

Jay wanted to hug
Ni-Ki but if he were to
move, for certain he
would wake up Riki.

So Jongseong stayed still.
He wasn't going to risk
waking the younger from
his deep, and much
needed, sleep.

Ni-Ki ended waking
up soon after.
This was the opportunity
for Jay to grasp the
younger in a warm hug.

But before Jay
could even move,
Ni-Ki scooted closer
towards the other,
cuddling him tighter
whilst trying to
fall asleep again
because he was still
sleepy.

Jay just decided to
hug the younger back.
He put his phone beside
him on the ground,
and turned to face
Ni-Ki to give him
an affectionate hug.

Yes, it woke up Ni-Ki fully.
But Ni-Ki didn't
really mind.
He joyfully embraced
the older back.

The two laid there,
giving and receiving
the best morning
cuddle the two
could ask for.

"Good morning, hyung,"
Ni-Ki whispered.
"Good morning, Ni-Ki,"
said Jay in between
a few quiet but
jolly chuckles.

"Did you have a good sleep?"
Ni-Ki asked, giving
Jay a funny smile
which the older
found quite adorable.

"Yes, I did."
Jay pecked Ni-Ki's
forehead then his cheek.
A loving stare
then overcame the two.
