Jay's been pacing throughout
his apartment for the past hour.
Jake's eyes have been
following the older
whilst sitting on the sofa.

"Hyung, what is it?!"
Jake yelled, tired.
"Huh? Oh, nothing."
"Really? You sure?
I've been sitting here
watching you fidgeting
with your fingers,
walking all around the couch."

Jay stayed quiet.
Yes, the reason why he's
being like this may be
partly because of Ni-Ki.

"Umm...I am— I forgot
to do something and
now I, uh, am in trouble!"
Jay said.
Jake crossed his eyebrows.
"If you don't mind me asking,
what did you do exactly?"

"I, uh, I...stole something..."
Jake was quite befuddled.
"You stole something? What
was it that you stole?"
"It was a...thingy that
you eat, umm— it was
a cookie! Yes, a cookie.
I stole it from a bakery
without paying!"

Jake didn't buy this
for a second.
"Whatever you say,
'cookie stealer'."

The younger got up
from the sofa.
"Where are you going?"
Jay asked.
"I'm getting you a cookie,"
Jake explained,
grabbing his coat.
"Rea—"
"No! I'm going to get
some stuff at the grocery
store so we can make
some brownies later."

Jay's pout slowly
formed into a smile.
"Oh...yay."
Jake walked out the apartment
after grabbing his bag.

Jay fell back on the sofa.
He rested his head on
his hand and started
to get sleepy.

Time skip!

Jay woke up.
He heard Christmas
playing music outside.
"Why is that playing?
Christmas was 4 days ago."

He grabbed his phone
and saw missed calls
from Ni-Ki.

Jay started panicking
and he rushed to
call back Ni-Ki.
His phone stumbled
out of his hands
a few times in the
process.

A few rings later
Ni-Ki answered.
"Hey, sorry I didn't
answer before,
I was asleep,"
Jay explained.
"No, it's ok.
What are you doing?"
Ni-Ki asked.

"Well, it's 6:24 pm now.
I'm probably not going
to do anything interesting."
"Okie, because maybe
we could go for a walk?
I don't know, just, it's
nice and cool weather
right now, good for a walk.
Do you wanna, maybe,
go after dinner?"

"Yeah, sure.
How does...7 sound?"
"That's great!"
"I'll meet you at your
apartment,"
Jay said.
"Oh, sure, ok."
"See ya later alligator."
"Bye hyung~"

Jay then hung up.
He had a smile on his face
and stretched out his
arms.

The only thing he could
make to eat within that
time frame was maybe
a sandwich or two.
Jay didn't really mind though,
he did have a big lunch
with Jake and he's really
pumped to see Ni-Ki,
he doesn't really care.
