Chapter 2

My classes always started with me introducing myself, it’s kinda tiring. I opened my locker just to step away from it when it scentless green goo came out of it. Yuck. I rolled my eyes as this cliché will keep on happening and happening from this day onwards. Everybody in the corridor just laughed. Maybe I should just laugh with them like ha-ha-ha-ha. Fuckers

My midnight blue orbs darkened as I raked my eyes to their own. I seriously wanted to kill them right now. Kill as in tearing limbs apart. Kill as in all hell breaks loose. Kill as in…Argh! Words can’t explain how I kill. Damn it!

I surprised those at my left by making my eyes crimson in a nanosecond, I think. Only some saw it. Then I marched my way passed them, not minding the locker filled with goo. The crowd seems to be so thick! I can’t get pass one without having another to pass. Ah! This is bullshit! I felt a hand grab my wrist and it’s Nick. He winked at me and pulled me to the side. I think it’s a small garden or something. Some students are hanging out here.

“Hey, what’s with you?” I asked him with a frown. He just grinned at me and started to whistle with his hands in his pocket. I suddenly smell something…burning. “Do you smell that?”

“Smell what?” he asked. I sniffed the air until I face somewhere to the (which I think is) south. How can he be so clueless? Is he really a wolf? I saw everybody not minding the smell. Hell, it reeks! I started fanning my hand before me as if to remove the smell. “Hey! I still smell good!”

“Not you, dumbass” I groaned and covered my nose. “There’s something burning……something like flesh”

I felt all eyes here focused on me. I groaned. It’s not just flesh. Blood. Sweet warm blood. I made sure my lips are locked together because I could feel my fangs showing. Damn! I turned to my wolf form. I don’t care about what they’ll say I need to get out of here. “Heather! Shit!”

I jumped over the school’s walls. I can’t bare this feeling. I need to feed on something. I need to. I race to the thick forest…going deeper and deeper. Where are the deer when you need them!? My raven black fur is turning gold. My eyes are in deep red. I rolled down the damp grass as I turned into my hungry vampire form. My hair is on the same golden hue. My fangs are extended to full length.

I went deeper in the forest until I hear the sound of running water. I was about to step into the open but I saw my prey, drinking water. Alright, maybe animal blood has less quality than a human’s but I don’t have any option here. I hide under the bushes. Waiting for the right moment…

Then a rabbit just ran away causing a load gushing sound of water. Damn that rabbit. Then my prey suddenly runs away maybe thinking the rabbit is some kind of predator. Tss. I chased after it. Fingernails extending and pointing at their ends. The deer run gracefully in the rocky parts and so I did. Then I jump higher and landed onto it burying my nails around its body and twisting him to the ground and bite him.

I sucked its blood out of its body. My nails burying deeper into its flesh. It’s scared, I know. And it’s making the blood even more divine than it really is. It’s been so long since I last fed, only relying to the supplements. I drained it to the last drop of blood it have. I stood up. My hair remains golden for I willed it to be and my eyes also remain in deep red.
