Ace snapped his head back down at her. She was going to kill him?! It was his turn to kill her with his stare. Ace pleaded up at him with her eyes as he felt his soften under her look.

"Love?" J asked as he gently pulled her closer to his side. "Let's go." He ordered as he tugged her away.

Ace knew it was now or never. She had shared many silent conversations with the only other Ace she had ever known but it was vital he listened to this one. He had to get over his stubborn side as she did. Her eyes gave him one final message as she saw him nod subtly.

A small smile appeared on her face as she turned and allowed her brother to pull her forcefully away. He'd understood. He'd heard and understood. Letting her arms drop to her side she paid close attention to her brother. He was going on and on about Ace and finally doing him in before they could live happily as brother and sister.

She wasn't listening.

She was fully focused on the trash can they were approaching. Her brothers did always say she had the best aim with knives after all.

Just as they passed it she leant her leg out and kicked it over whilst chucking the knife down in its path, rubbish fell everywhere, covering the knife from sight as J laughed.

"That's my girl!" He shouted as he pulled her along.

She smiled up at him as he beamed down at her. For brothers and sisters they were completely different. He was evil through and through. The Devil reincarnated. Yet she was not. Though she claimed to be the Devil she knew the truth deep down. She was Rose.

She smiled to herself as they turned another corner. The main thing to her now was that Ace had understood her. Ace would always understand her. They were the same after all. Aces always understood each other.

Eyeball shoved Ace up the street in the direction the female Ace had been led away by her brother. He could tell they'd had some weird silent conversation that always creeped Charlie out. Ace broke from his trance and faced the girls.

"The fuck is with that knife?" He almost snapped, it came out harsher than he wanted but without her by his side he couldn't stop himself.

Seven sighed and stepped forward. "Her dads. If we're right there's a vial locked away on the handle that causes poison to bleed into the blade. You stab someone with that knife..." her voice trailed off.

Just as Diamond stepped forward to speak they heard a crash and looked down the street to see Ace had kicked a trash can over. Diamond laughed.

"Oh she's good."

Seven and Diamond laughed as they both rushed over to the trash can, seeing Ace and J turn a corner. The cobras all followed them, Ace even more confused but somehow knowing the knife would be there and she wanted him to have it. She wanted him to save her. And save her he would.

Seven quickly kicked the rubbish out the way and sure as anything the knife lay there on the floor. He smiled as he bent down and picked it up. Diamond giggled slightly as he rolled it over in his hands, trailing his fingers along the leather.

"What's so funny?" Eyeball mumbled to her as she quickly whispered in Seven's ear.

Seven laughed and nodded as they both watched Ace and his fascination.

"It's like a gender swap with you two." Seven said as both girls laughed.

Ace looked up and glared at them both but they just laughed harder.

"Sorry Ace, she does it better." Diamond said laughing into Eyeball's shoulder, who shrugged at his boss.

The other cobras all joined in the laughter as he glared at them all before sighing and giving up. He looked back down at the knife in his hands. He had to get her back.

"So we gonna stand here all day or actually go help her?" Vince mumbled at everyone.

Ace looked up at them, staring at each one in turn. His eyes stopped on Eyeball, who had a smirk on his face.

"I did tell you we fight beside Ace." He laughed slightly as a small smile appeared on his face.

Ace nodded at them and turned to begin walking in the direction of the siblings. The other cobras all followed him with smiles on their faces but none were as big as Seven and Diamonds. They were getting their best friend back.
