"So Lady Foss-Boss, what are we going to do while we wait for Dex?"

"I mean, we could always go again..." I started, but before I could finish everyone else screamed no at the same time Keefe screamed yes. "Oookay, well, there's a snack booth nearby if y'all wanted to try some human food."

"You lost me at snack Foster," Keefe yelled as he ran towards the little store.

"I could use a snack, that ride took a lot out of me," Biana said.

"We just sat the whole time...?"

"I meant emotionally Sophie. That ride was emotionally traumatic. I will forever be traumatized."

"Here here," Tam and Fitz said at the same time.

"I kind of liked it," Linh said, "but I didn't like the part where the bunny rabbit was cooked in a pot."

"Linh, that is just how the story goes. The rabbit escapes later on in the story," I explained.

"Are you guys coming, or what?" Keefe yelled from inside the snack store. "I have a lot of stuff to buy, and for SOME REASON Sophie is hogging all the cash."

"I'm hogging the cash because you are a complete idiot!" I yelled at Keefe.

"Yeah, well now the idiot is hungry! Hurry up!"

With a big sigh, I walked towards the store and my friends came behind me. Sure enough, as soon as I walked in, I saw Keefe with countless bags of food which he had shoved onto the poor cashier's desk.

"Um, Sophie, I don't think we really know what to get here, and Keefe seems to have bought out the whole store anyway, so we can all just share with him," Fitz said.

"I think that sounds like a great idea," I said at the same time Keefe yelled, "No way Fitzy, this is MY stash!" Keefe grabbed as much of the food as he could carry, and ran away screaming, "If you want to eat MY food, you're gonna have to catch meeeeee!"

"Sir! You know you have to pay for that..." the cashier called after him.

"That man looks like he wants to ask us questions," Tam whispered. "We can't have anybody here be suspicious of us.

"Tam! Please, wait!" but I was too late.

"Hey you, yeah you. With the gross fuzzy face and the shifty expression. And the bump on your head. And the wart on your nose. And.."

"Tam, stop being rude," Biana admonished in a very loud whisper. "He can't help that he looks ugly remember? He's an h u m a n," she spelled out.

"Right, sorry," Tam apologized. "Anyway, you! Handsome man behind the counter! We (he gestured to our group), are all humans. We are friends. We mean you no harm," he explained, sounding like he was talking to a baby. "We are not suspicious AT ALL and we are simply enjoying our time here." Then Tam got right up in the man's face and grabbed his shirt, growling softly in a menacing voice, "So if you report us, complain, or even THINK anything otherwise, I. Will. Kill. You." He let the man go, and walked out saying, "Have a nice day!"

Surprisingly, Linh came up to the cashier and attempted to smooth things over. The poor cashier was noticeably shaking, and she said, "Hey there! I'm so sorry about my twin brother. He gets a little nervous around strangers."

"A little nervous, huh? That psychopath just threatened me with murder!" the cashier screamed.

"I'm sure it was just a little misunderstanding," Linh tried.

"Misunderstanding, yeah. Sure. You're lucky I didn't call the cops on him."

As if Tam had been listening in the whole time, he suddenly popped in the store window, and stared straight at the cashier, with a creepy -I know what you are thinking and I will destroy you in a painful way- kind of look.
