Fireworks

By the time we had left Goofy's kitchen, it was pitch black outside. "Hurry guys!" I shouted. "We don't want to miss the fireworks!"

"You mean you don't want to miss the fireworks. Pretty sure the rest of us are fearing certain death," Tam said.

"I'll have to agree with you on that one Mr. Song," Sandor said. Dex was still not talking, but he nodded his head emphatically in support.

"Don't worry Sophie, I trust you," Keefe exclaimed.

"Yeah, because Sophie always tells you all her evil plans," Fitz pointed out.

"That's because I'm the best at pranking. You can't deny it. Your little 'plastic wrap on the toilet' trick, while genius, was nowhere near the perfection of the Great Gulon Incident."

"Plastic wrap...?" Linh started.

"Linh, please don't ask. I really don't want to know," I interrupted.

"Yeah, you really don't," Fitz agreed. "But it was epic."

"Okay, okay please stop," I begged.

"Payback," Fitz grinned.

At this point, Dex seemed to recover from whatever shock he was in and said, "Payback. Major payback. It is coming. I don't know how I am going to prank you for the torture you have put me through today..."

"You know, the log thing was kinda your fault, not mine," I interjected.

"DO NOT BRING UP THE LOG THING!! I don't know how I'm going to prank you, but you'd better be scared. Like, -hide where no one will ever find you scared-."

"I second that motion," Tam yelled.

"I thought it was hilarious," Linh said.

We all did a double-take.

"What?" Keefe asked. "Did the nice, gentle, kind, Linh just say torturing Dex and her brother was hilarious?"

"I didn't care for the water rides much, but it was all worth it when Dex got strapped to the log. And his reaction when the characters were singing? Priceless. And Tam!? Now I have enough material to tease him for months! Today was awesome!"

Everyone just kinda stared at her.

"Did I say something wrong?" she asked innocently.

"Linh, I should have never misjudged you," Keefe said in awe.

"Yeah," Fitz breathed. "She's right, you know, today was pretty epic."

"I agree," Biana said.

"I thought you of all people would be on my side," Tam complained.

"Oh no, I am still totally going to humiliate and/or prank Sophie hard when we get back. But today was really fun."

"I was arrested!" Tam shouted.

"And whose fault was that?" Biana retorted. Tam slunk deeper into the shadows and didn't respond.

"I thought..." Keefe started.

"Everyone knows that you loved every minute of it," Fitz said dryly.

"Yup! Though I've got to say, you face planting on the concrete... that was the cherry on top."

"Yeah, whatever."

"Guys!" I said when we finally got to the Disney castle. "We're here!"

"It's... a lot smaller than I expected," Fitz said. "Especially for a castle."
