Reader/ Me- Hello, a mission. That sounds interesting to me, what kind is it? Why shouldn't I tell Dante either?

Morrison- The mission would be going to a military camp by helicopter, there have been a number of demons showing up at a camp. They need some help cleaning them up, since you know how to, and trained by these devil boys. I thought you would do just fine there. Just pack a bag, and take your best weapon and items you may need. The reason I said not to tell Dante, is because.... I knew he wouldn't let you go so easy, he might even flat out say no. I think time away from them all would be good for you. The pay after the mission would be something really great for you to help yourself with. Dante's nephew is it? he also started his own devil hunting business with that woman Nico. Take this mission that could be like that to you., you're own quest.

I listened in to what Morisson said. It sounded fun, a little trip away from here would be nice. If I went and passed this quest, that would e like showing them I have grown better at fighting demons alone. A love wolf mission could be just what I need.

I texted back, making sure V couldn't see my phone screen.

Reader/ Me- Alright, I will do it. How much time do I have, and where should I go to meet this helicopter?

Morrison- Great! Tomorrow morning would be best at this point, it's a long fly-out. I hope you don't mind. Meet me beside the Devil May Cry Office, Dante's office, but do not go inside.

I put m phone down and took a breath. What did I just do? I felt bad for leaving V behind, and the others. I would just vanish into thin air for a while. I guess it was time to enjoy what time I had left here and pack my things without V knowing. Then set out on horseback with the flame horse.

I looked up at V after stuffing my phone into my pocket. He looked up from his book. "You're tea should be ready by now." He pointed with his cane at my cup. "Oh..thanks." I walked up to the counter. "Hey uh..V? or...Vergil."

"What is it?" He blinked his soft emerald eyes. "Do you like being like this, human I mean? or is it strange."

V shut his book and looked up at me, leaning on his cane. "I don't dislike it, but it's also not fully me either. I did ..learn a lot, in the end, being like this."

"I heard you use to have a big black cat as your familiar. Must have been cool."

"Ha ha Cool? I suppose. He was affectionate, and loyal till the end." V walked over to me, and gently patted the top of my hair, he looked down at me. I shyly looked to the side. "Can I ask one more thing?"

"Of course." He replied, taking his food to the table. "If something would ever happen to me, or I got lost...would you...look for me..?"

V took in a deep breath, clearing his throat. He was a bit surprised by my words. "I..would not let you die out there alone, if that's what you mean...yes. Besides..I believe the others would not forgive me for such an act."
