"Well, this explains some things. Hello Nero, and ___." Dante smiled at us. Trying to show us he was on our side. He was ready to defend us incase Vergil was coming to show us some wrath.

At least he could take Vergil's wrath.

V motioned to Shadow. The big cat grumbled and stood up. I could hear the branches creak.

V tried to make eye contact with me, but I did not let him. If he was angry about this, even though I was fine. I wanted to make him try to understand why I did this.

Before I could let out a breath, Shadow was directly behind me. I felt my collars tighten. While my body lifted off the branch.

Upon V's orders. Shadow lifted me up off the branch with ease. I began to flash a worried face at Dante and Nero.

Was V that mad at me? Dante stood by to make sure I wasn't going to get hurt. Shadow jumped out of the tree with me. Dropping me on my ass I hit the ground with a thud.

Nero stepped next to me. He gave me a hand to help pull me up to my feet.

I swallowed in fear. Shadow vanished and went back to V after petting the cat.

"Hey ___." Dante tried to defuse the tension more.

"H-hi Dante." I greeted.

" You alright?" Nero adjusted the back of the coat's collar. Trying to smooth out Shadow's teeth marks.
"I.. don't know." I replied feeling cold from V's sharp gaze.

In a flash Vergil stepped forward a bit. I began to fear for my life. Vergil tried to get closer to me. Nero stepped in front of me. Wings out shielding me.

Vergil stopped in his tracks. He tried to make contact with me again, but I did not let him.

"Nero..step aside. This between me and ___.''

Nero shook his head."No can do."

Vergil furrowed his brows. He breathed in deeply." Vergil.." Dante tried to talk to his brother.

"Silence Dante." He snapped.

Worry and fear swept over Nero. Dante made a move and stepped near __.
Making Vergio now look like the enemy.
They stood in front of ____, keeping Vergil at a distance.

"_ Do not lie to me anymore." Vergil tried to remain calm while he spoke.

Fear washed over me again. "You never asked... " I said in a calm stern voice.

"Why did you lie to me?" Vergil asked." What have I done to make you do this to me?"

"I didn't tell it to your face, you did not ask about what I have been doing or how my day was." My lie was only half lie.

" Hey Vergil part if this is my fault." Nero adds.
"Not Now Nero." Vergil glared.

"Tell me, do you trust me so little?" Vergil's voice cracked. He sounded offended, it was strange to see that.

"Thats not it." I said, while Vergil tried to get closer.

Dante put his arm out trying to stop his brother from getting closer to me.

"V-Vergil easy. ____'s is still only human." Dante said worried, that he would go far and punish ____. The look on Vergil's face was hard to read.

"Vergil it was me, I wanted to take ___ with us. Please didn't be mad. ____ was bored and wanted to do more. Come on think about it, you are always at work." Nero tried to explain.

"That's right! Can't you see the poor girl was just bored man. You didn't give her much attention, you were always working."

Vergil flinched at what Dante was telling him. He dropped his head a little. Frustration flooded him, he needed to get this anger out. He was afraid though that he wouldn't be able to control himself and hurt ___. Breaking the only little trust they managed to make. If the trust broke it would probably never be repaired again.

"Explain to me then, I can not put the pieces together. Why the blood , why the demons. How come that one day I smelt blood in my home. Was that you?

Understanding that Vergil was not even there to help protect his partner, it was another part of his fault. He wasn't able to send the demons away sooner and now they know where he lives and are targeting ___ more."

"Vergio NO!" Dante shouts putting up his guard. Anger and sadness flashed deeply in Vergil. Fear floods the two men, seeing Vergil crack.

Vergil suddenly drew his sword in a flash and began to lundge in out direction. Nero quickly tossed me back with his electric blue wig. I hit the dirt.

"Stay down!" Nero said while I was gasping for air. I was directly below a tree.

"Royal Guard!" *ping!* I heard Dante say. He pushed Vergil back.

"Vergil! What the hell is wrong with you!!? Are you trying to kill ___?"

Vergil's eyes widen. "NO!" He pushed Dante roughly into a tree near by. Vergil swung his sword and managed to split the tree in half above Dante.

"Vergil! Really man the poor trees?!" Dante flipped himself up to his feet.

"Damn it Vergil stop!" Just as Dante said that Vergil pushed his forward straight at Dante.

*drip...*

Blood splattered on the ground. I slowly sat up against the tree. Whatever was happening seemed to be over.

"Ahaha really..Dumbass..?" Dante coughed a bit, blood trickle-down his lip. "When will you learn this can't kill me." He chuckled, but he clearly felt some pain.

An attack from Vergil was worse than some little demon.

"..ugh what the heck." Nero sighed.

Instead of stabbing ___. Vergil turned around and took his pain anger out on Dante.

"Vergil man, its cool man calm down. We can handle this right?"

Vergil's devil like fangs stuck out while he growled a little. His eyes glowing still. Vergil let go of his Katana and took a step back to process things. While poor Dante was still being stabbed.
