Using my abilities from the gross blood I was forced to drink a while back. I easily ninja climbed up into the tall tree like a cat. Don't get me wrong I was still pissed a bit a Vergil. It would take me some time to cool off, I thought putting distance between us was the best.

"If you want me back, then you will need to take me by force man. Not that I will make it easy for you dummy." I rolled my eyes.

I could hear Crimson below snort at my words. Not too long after that, I spot a panting ass, Vergil, he looked trashed at this point. It almost made me laugh. The man was huffing and wheezing. It didn't take him very long to sense my presence though.

The second he did, Crimson the demonic horse reared on his hind legs threatening Vergil to back off. He angrily pawed at the ground. 'Hm, protecting your master huh. Very well..' He took a step back, letting the horse know he wasn't gonna try to mess with him.

Instead, he found a tall tree as well to perch on keeping a big distance from me. His sharp eyes watched me as I fumed inside still. Without teleporting Vergil makes his way up onto his tall tree across from me. Sit's down and just pearches there, as he huffs from the long run. 'Damn...ha...women...how long did you have to run...' He thought.

I glared at Vergil from the distance. I wasn't sure if I should run, or stay.

"Well..., well...so this is it." Mumbled Vergil. I could tell he was trying to speak to me, even though it was a soft mumble. He sounded tired and stressed. I wondered how much the man inside him was shuttering. I was angry at him, he could sense it. It twisted his stomach.

I clamped my mouth shut still though, ignoring his words. "I know you can hear me...I." Vergil started in a low hurt-like voice.

"It was..that bird's..fault..Griffon. N-no...I should have been more careful, and instructed him better."

I did feel a small flutter inside me. I wasn't going to give up that easy though. I said nothing and turned my head away a bit. Vergil breathed in slight frustration. I thought it was because I ignored him still. I was wrong.

The demonic horse below us started snorting and rearing loudly. My eyes snapped down to see demons begin to spawn all around us. 'Oh..crap..there is too many for me down there. I need to hide from them. M-maybe if I go up high it will help?' I thought anyways. 'Gross...stay away from me.' I glared down at the demons.

"Must I always be interrupted?" Vergil huffed, pulling out his Yamato. He was losing his patients. Vergil began to slice the many demons, it looked like he was gracefully dancing. His dance was deadly though. He was angry for getting interrupted. His light-colored sharp eyes burned with motivation.

Meanwhile, I scurried up farther away from the ground. Part of me wanted Vergil to suffer more, and another part of me wanted him to apologize. It was entertaining seeing him slice up the demons below when annoyed. 'Yeah..suffer a bit longer ..idiot.'

Vergil was slower and more tired though. He wasn't fully recovered from running. He thought he cut down all of the demons. He was wrong though, he looked up seeing a few of them escape up the tree ___ sat it.

"Damn...I missed a few ." As much as the flame horse glared at Vergil, he was going to let him pass just this time to get to the demons. 'I need to get to her fast, she doesn't seem to have anything to defend herself with.'

Vergil began to climb up as fast as he could. He couldn't teleport right now, it would drain too much of his power. Plus he didn't want to cause ____ any more unwanted stress. He was gonna try to do this quietly and quietly as possible.

He began shooting ice shards that looked like spears up, hoping it will slow down the demons. It hit them dead on, but they didn't stop moving, it was as if they ignored it. This ticked Vergil off even more.

(Reader/ Me POV)

I finally climbed up a bit farther. I took the mistake of looking down. The world spun a bit with me. 'Ughh...bad idea..' My eyes widen seeing demons crawling up the tree I was on. I could technically switch to another tree, but what good will that do? I couldn't cut them down here.

"Where the heck are you?" I whispered not seeing Vergil anywhere. Did the man ditch me? and just leave. He wasn't one to give up easily. How come I couldn't see him???

The demons were beginning to get dangerously close to me, I wasn't preparing to jump. Their creepy voices chilled me, they looked so disgusting. Suddenly Vergil showed up on two branches below me. My eyes widen in shock. He was here! He didn't leave. "HALT!" He shouts. I wasn't sure if it was at me or the demons. It all happened too fast. I freeze in place hugging the tree, as the wind blew at me.

*CHING!* Using the last of his stronger abilities, Vergil glowed an icy blue and charged down the tree trunk with lightning speed. Instantly killing all the demons left. Stabbing his katana into the side of the tree, Vergil stood there kneeling on the branches below tired to hell. I could hear him huff still. He took a moment to collect his thoughts.

'W-well..he did it.'
