One night in the crimson moonlight, I found myself waking up on the street bruised all to hell. I had no idea why I was here. Where would I go? I had no choice but to fight for my life to survive. Is anyone there, someone to help me?

I made my way up to the area where the boys were battling demons. V gracefully danced around the enemy as his familiars cut down the lesser demons. Vergil's other half's battle skills were different. Instead of head-on combat, he had to hold himself back. The man was a summoner after all.
'They should have this done soon enough. I believe I will just sit here.' I sat down on a large rock a couple of feet away from the boys. The party was about to get crazy though.
I did not notice the demons sneaking up on me. They could sense my weakened state and the fact I was not like the rest.
"Huuman...." One squeaked in a creepy voice, getting ready to pounce.
Everyone took one second to breathe in between fighting. v looked up only for a moment. Spotting the little group of demons creeping up on me. horror struck the summoner, as he shouted in alarm.
"Impossible, _____!!"
"Huh?!" Griffon squocked. With a snap of his fingers. "Enjoy the taste of despair!"
V's hair went pure white in a second. The large stone giant shows up suddenly behind ____. Block the demon's attack. "They are after____!"
Dante and Nero see V speed up in my direction. "V!" Nero shouts.
(Reader's POV)
The ground shook below my feet as the stone giant suddenly came out of nowhere.
"____!" I was suddenly grabbed by the back of my shirt and yanked back into someone. "Stand back..!" The familiar voice warned. I listen to the voice as I step back. My heart racing finding myself in sudden danger. V's silver cane shows up in front of me, blocking any attacks.
"M-more more..! back up." I did as he said. Nero and Dante run forward, while more spawn.
"Why is it you are here.?!" V asks me in an unamused voice. "I.. I just wanted to walk a bit, I was bored."
V sighs heavily. "Griffon attack!" He shouts, ordering the bird. "Yessir!"
"We will speak of this later as well, for now, I am glad you are unharmed." I was surprised to feel V's arms around me, trying to protect me.
"Griffon come here!" V says alarmed as he spots a big group of demons suddenly spawn before us. V grabbed my hand. "Pardon me." The bird latches onto V's arm and pulls us up into the air. My feet leave the ground as we float down next to Nero and Dante.
"AHh! What is happening!??" Nero says frustrated. We stand back to back. We were getting surrounded by dozens of demons.
"They smell human, they can tell ____ isn't like us. If it's not that I do not know."
We were in danger. The weakened devil boys, and even I was not at full power.
the creepy voices of demons of all kinds made me shiver. "I don't want to even be touched by one."
