CHAPTER 9 POV: Percy Jackson

I don't know what happened after the duel. I passed out. I dreamt that Chaos declared me winner against Thyella, who turned out to be my bro, Jason! And I fainted in the dream and got engulfed in the darkness.

I finally woke up. I looked at my face and realized that my hood was off. I panicked. Did the Chaos Army know who I was? Was my cover blown? Or was the dream real? I sat and rubbed my temples. After my headache subsided, I looked around the room. I was in a huge room that had an attached bathroom, a bed, and an office with a mini library. I saw a letter folded in the lamp side. I opened the letter and immediately held back my tears. It was not a dream.

Dear Percy,

Good to see you bro. I was surprised that you were Evlogimenos, and you defeated me even when I had the blessing of Chaos. I am so happy to see you again. We are currently in a meeting, discussing about the war. It would be a long meeting, so you can come to the meeting. To know the directions, just fold this paper into a paper-plane and launch it while saying Chaos's name. It will lead you to us.

Percy! I know you have a lot of questions. Even we have a lot of questions. It is better if we say it face to face. All of us know who you are, and you know all of us. You saw me and Luke. When the others revealed themselves, you fainted in shock. So, we decided to list our names, actual and code names.

Before you think you are hallucinating, yes, Octavian is also included. He mended his ways. And we do call him fatty though he is far from it. The brackets tell our nicknames if we found our code name too long.

So, I was not dreaming. I did reveal who I was. And Octavian was in the Army!! More like a diplomat, I guess. And he is called Fatty!! That is hilarious!! I can't believe this luck. All my friends, have got a new life here.

I quickly get up. I made a plane out of the paper and told Chaos's name. It started to fly, and I quickly followed. It led me to a room which I assume to be a war room, for there were many weapons and maps and strategy papers. Oh! Annabeth would be licking her lips in joy.

I saw Chaos and the twelve members of the Army seated in a round table. They were in deep discussion. They didn't seem to notice me until the plane landed in front of Chaos. All of them turned to me and smiled, Octavian albeit a bit reluctantly. I waved them and sat next to Chaos, who summoned a chair for me to sit.

"Welcome, Percy Jackson. Welcome. Hope you are okay.", Chaos said with a bit of concern.

"Yes. Other than the shock on seeing my fallen friends back, I am as normal as I can be.", I said, and Chaos chuckled.
