I walked towards the training grounds after slithering out of the bed and room leaving Johanna alone to sleep. I didn't want to wake her yet since it's still early.

" thought I'd catch you here" I turned to see Rosie Fucking Drew

" long time no see Drew" I said with no emotion and picked up my bow and arrows and aimed at the targets

" so we're going by second names now?" She asked and I shrugged

" what do you want me to call you? You shouldn't even be here speaking to me in the first place" I said and continued to not make eye contact

" I am eighteen now, nobody can stop me" she said and I could hear her moving closer to me

" ok and? you told me two years ago no matter what your father said you'll stay with me, but you just lied to my face Rosie. I'll be honest, I've grown away from those feelings because I found out who the real you is" I said finally looking at her

" I didn't want to stay away Katniss, if my friends found out I would've been dead meat" she said and I scoffed

" whatever Rosie, I was stupid enough to actually do shit with you. I really thought you cared about me and that's the only reason I gave it up to you, I didn't even care if we had to sneak around together like we were already doing but of course you chose the easier option of fucking me off and getting with someone like a week later" I said dryly not letting her see any emotion

it's been two years, I spent my time being upset over her and regretting things, I've got more important things to deal with then with some stupid ex girlfriend.

" but I'm not a lesbian, I like both so in actual fact I wasn't actually in the way that I like men, but yeah the act with Peeta was fake. You should've been able to tell since your so good at it" I said and she scoffed loudly

" Nothing! absolutely nothing Rosie! why couldn't you have just forgotten about me like I was doing?" I asked and she looked down

" how can I when all I see is your face everywhere? first the girl on fire, then districts twelve's female victor and now the Mockingjay! your everything that everyone's ever talking about as well, even my father adores you and chooses to pretend that he didn't want you dead two years ago"

I stood in a daze, apart from Gale she's like a breakaway into my past, before my life was fucked over by the games. I don't like it, I don't want to go back to that because in mind going back will mean that I'd have to relive the two games again. I couldn't do that to myself.

" you know if you really cared for me as much as you claim you do, you would've came and seen me either before I left for the first games or after but you didn't, that's when I officially lost all respect for you Drew" I dragged the last bit and seen the sadness flash across her face

" Brainless you in here?" I heard Johanna call as she looked in the room

" yeah over here" I said and Rosie stood confused

" there you are, who's this? who are you blondie?" Johanna asked as she walked over and stood beside me

" Johanna, this is Rosie Drew, Drew this is Johanna" I said and Johanna smirked but her eyes flashed something that I've never seen before

" so your the one that broke Everdeen's heart?" Johanna asked and Rosie's eyes shot straight up

" you told her?!" Rosie asked in a panic again sounding ashamed and I shrugged my shoulders

" for the record I didn't touch hers!" she said and cocked my head and the liar

" god your so full of shit Drew, think you might need help remembering. All you wanted to do was touch me and kiss me, you were like a dog in heat the way you were acting" I said and she snared at me

" well then, brainless I'm proud of you for that one, also blondie go find some other girl to use because the Mockingjay has better things doing and I mean that in two ways. Bye now" Johanna said and waved Rosie off as she huffed her way out of the room

" she's a bitch" Johanna said and I laughed causing us both to laugh

" I remember when you told me when she asked could she go hunting with you, you almost died" he said

" I was stupid to think she'd actually be interested but at least I've moved on" I said and he nodding telling me that was the correct attitude to have towards the whole situation

We ate and I walked towards coins office as she summoned me to her. She's gonna ruin my whole day even as shitty as it already was be saying I've to do this stupid propo.

" hello Miss Everdeen, please take a seat" she said and I pulled out a chair and crossed my arms

" how are you? How are you and Miss Mason finding things?" She asked

" it's fine" Is all I said and Plutarch cleared his throat beside her

" Haymitch probably has mention to about a propo, we need to send you out tonight to contain everything. We are sending you to district 2"
