Todays the day, we get tested for the block exam, my nerves have picked up all day and last night. We aren't given any information about it and what to expect but I don't thinks going to be fun that's all I'll say.

" Brainless relax your freaking me out" Johanna said as my leg continued to shake as we sat waiting for our names to be called

" I'm sorry I'm just nervous" I said and she leaned her head on my shoulder

" you'll be fine Katniss"

I wasn't just nervous for myself, it was mostly about Johanna, she hasn't been as bad recently but she was quite jumping when she returned from the capital, I'm scared incase they trigger something from when she was there and ruin everything that she's worked towards. It would kill me to see her the way she used to be, it would kill me not to have her by my side in the capital.

" Katniss Everdeen, please report for your individual block assignment" the robot said over the intercom reminding me of how it was in the capital waiting for your individual assessment before the games

" concentrate Katniss" Johanna said to me before I entered the room with bow in hand

" your assignment begins now"

The lights went up and it looked like a street in the capital, I quickly got into my position with my commander in my ear piece tell me which way to go. I followed all the instructions as well as shooting some peacekeepers.

Birds began to flock around the city making me panic a little, why would they put jabberjays in here? Are they trying to properly freak my out? Thankfully I'm able to push through and I make it to the end of the course.

" Miss Everdeen, congratulations welcome to squad 451" the announcer said and I smiled to myself

I sat waiting for Johanna's to be completed and be able to celebrate, celebrate that we are going to kill President snow.

" Miss Everdeen you need to leave" one of the guards said as I waited in the waiting room

" why? I'm waiting on her" I said and they tightly grabbed hold of my arm

" hey what are you doing?!" I yelled as the dragged me out forcefully leaving me as far away from the block centre as they could

" Katniss why do you look so panicked?" Finnick asked as he walked down the hall

" they just fucking dragged me away from the block waiting room, I was waiting for Johanna to finish" I said and gave me a confused look

" why would they do that?" He asked and I shrugged

" Katniss there you are!" Haymitch said and ran towards me

" what's wrong?"

" Johanna's back in hospital, she had a flash back. They had her in the block and flooded it, triggered an attack" he said and heart dropped to my stomach and my body filled with rage

" where the fuck is coin?!" I said angrily heading towards the office with Haymitch and finnick following behind me swiftly

" what did you do?" I asked as I barraged into her office

" I've no idea what you are talking about Miss Everdeen" she said and I scoffed

" what did you do to Johanna when she was in the block assignment? Why did you make her have a flashback!" I shouted and slammed my hand on her desk

" Miss Everdeen you are on thin ice"

" and I'm this close to ending the mockingjay!" I said and Haymitch grabbed my shoulder swiftly

" why coin? Johanna was doing so well, especially with Katniss around" Finnick said and Plutarch shrugged

" she was put in a situation like the rest of you and she just failed it" Plutarch said in a sobbie voice

" no no it wasn't like any of ours, you knew what she went through in the capital! And there's no way there's going to be a flood in the capital, you should've given her a fair chance like the rest of us" I said with anger still rushing through me

" we couldn't let someone who isn't stable enough to join the squad"

" none of us are mentally stable, the games fuck you over, with all the stuff they put in them. You would know Plutarch, was that poison fog your idea? Or the monkeys? Either way you've succeeded in giving me and many others horrible nightmares that will haunt us for the rest of our lifetime!" I needed to catch my breath after that speech

" I've seen how much Mason has came along, she was actually happy again. This is gonna really send her back down" Haymitch said and I gave him an sad/happy look

" our idea was never to send Johanna into a shock like this" she said and I tried to contain myself

" really? Or did you do this because Katniss said no to your relationship fantasy with Peeta? I'm just curious about that, really shouldn't be taking stuff out on people like this over their sexual preferences" Finnick said and coin looked shocked

" Mr Odair I can assure you this is nothing got to do with that! Now as I said this is not what we intended to happen, Miss Everdeen if you really cared about her so much you would be seeing her now" she said and I quickly turned on my heals and headed in the direction of the hospital to see her

I wanted to storm the capital with Johanna by my side, killing snow together. Seeing her torturer die in front of me, he finally gets what he deserves after all these years of killing children for entertainment.

" Is she awake?" I asked a nurse

" yes she is, she's been asking for you also" she said and I nodded heading into the room

" hey brainless" I heard her say and a smile was brought to my face

" hey, how are you feeling?" I asked

" fine, they aren't giving me any morphling but I'm ok. Did you pass the exam?" She asked me

" yeah I did, I'm so sorry with what happened Jo. Me , Finnick and Haymitch had a chat with her and Plutarch, wouldn't say it was a friendly chat though" I said and she laughed

" I'm happy you did, at least one of us is going to kill him. Don't forget about me when your gone Brainless, I'll be waiting for you" she said and I shook my head

" you'll be the only thing getting me through it"
