This story takes place just after age of ultron when Wanda first joins the avengers. She is overwhelmed with the loss of her brother and falls into a dark state. Can Natasha help her find happiness again?

The tears flowed down my cheeks and dripped from my chin. I was too sad to cry out or wail, instead I just stood as still as a statue staring at the grave in front of me. I felt like the once bubbly, and ambitious girl I used to be had gone and I was now left in a dark pit of dread and misery. Pietro was my lifeline, he was the only person who knew the real me. He protected me while we were at hydra and we had both gone through so much together. And now he's gone.
"Wanda?" I heard a voice from behind me. I quickly wiped my tears and looked round to see Natasha Romanoff stood behind me.
"Yes agent Romanoff" I asked
"Please call me Natasha дорогой (sweetheart). I just wanted to see if you were alright?" She replied
"Oh...I'm fine" I respond not wanting to show my weakness in front of the world class assassin.
"Are you sure?" Nat questioned not quite believing my response. I nodded. "Okay, we'll I was asked by fury to show you to your room, it's next to mine and I'm headed up there now if you want to join me?"
"A room? You guys are letting me stay here?" I asked shocked seeing as I thought they'd throw me out.
"Yes a room" Nat laughed softly "come on, I'll show you where it is" she walked towards the avengers building and I quickly followed behind her. As we walked through the building I couldn't help but look around in awe, the place was huge compared to where I was kept at hydra. Natasha lead me to an elevator and quickly pressed the button for the twelfth floor.
"But that's where the avengers live" I exclaim
"Wanda, you are an avenger" Nat smiled at me softly. The elevator came to a halt and Natasha lead me out of it into a large open plan living room/kitchen where I saw Steve and tony sat on the couch with there eyes fixed on the TV and Tony's wife pepper Potts in the kitchen cooking something, when she saw the two of us enter she smiled
"Natasha" she beamed
"Hi pepper" Natasha smiled back at her
"And you must be Wanda?" Pepper asked
"Yup, that's me" I nodded
"Well Wanda I hope you like spaghetti because that's what's on the menu tonight" pepper said while picking up a pot and stirring It
"Isn't it Tony's night to cook?" Natasha questioned with a smirk
"Yes, but I don't think any of us can bear another night of his badly cooked meat loaf" pepper sighed
"Fair point" Natasha agreed "come on maximoff, I'll show you to your room" Natasha headed towards a long hallway, and I followed behind her. She lead me to a door towards the end of the corridor. "Here we are" Natasha said and handed me a blue card "this is your key card, it gives you access to pretty much anywhere in the building," she explained
"Thank you" I replied taking the card from her and holding it up to my door. F.R.I.D.A.Y scanned it
"Welcome Miss Maximoff" F.R.I.D.A.Y spoke "woah" i jumped back wondering where the voice came from. I heard Natasha chuckle
"That's Tony's surveillance system"
"Oh" was all I could say before I looked up and saw the most beautiful room I had ever seen

It was big and yet cozy. The completed opposite of my stone hydra cell with a wooden bench in the corner that I was used to.
"We weren't too sure what style you liked so we just picked this, you can change it if you don't like it" Natasha added quickly watching me look around with my mouth hung open
"No, it's perfect. Thank you all so much" I smiled at Natasha.
"No problem, I'll let you get settled. My room is just next door if you need anything" Natasha smiled "I'll come get you when dinners ready" and with that Wanda was left it her new room. She flopped down onto her bed, which was the most comfortable thing she had ever felt. The tiredness from everything that had happened recently finally caught up with her and Wanda quickly gave in to sleep.
