I walked down the street, with my head down and my hands tucked into the pockets of my black hoodie. I didn't know where I was or where I was going but I kept walking. Eventually I found a small empty park and decided to sit down on a bench. Eventually I felt someone sit down next to me. I quickly wiped away the stray tears that had begun to roll there way down my face.

"Hey kiddo" Natasha's familiar voice spoke softly. I couldn't bring myself to respond or even to look at her so instead I just looked down at my bare feet and let a couple of tears drip down my face. Nat saw this and quickly wrapped her arms around me pulling me in so my head was hidden in the crook of her neck. "Shh, shh it's okay дорогая (sweetie) your okay" Natasha said

"I'm sorry" I is all I managed to speak. My voice was shaky from crying. Nat pulled my onto her lap and began rocking me, the same way she did on the first night I was at the towers.

"So bye bye miss American pie" Nat began to sing softly "Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry" I stayed on her lap, my head hidden in her neck with her singing to me until she got to the end of the song. I had stopped crying and Nat lifted my head up to look at her "you could have come to me"

"I know"

"Can I ask why you did it?" She questioned

"I don't know, everything just gets too much sometimes and it's the only way to make my head stop talking. I started when I was in hydra and I know it's not ideal but it quiets the noise" I explained deciding now that she knew about it I may as well just talk to her "I'm sorry for running off" I added guiltily.

"It's alright just don't run off again. As for the other thing, I can help you" Nat replied

"How?" I asked looking up at her. She said nothing and sighed before hesitantly rolling up one of her sleeves and showing me her arm. I gasped slightly. Her arm was laced with faint white lines.

"When Clint first rescued me from the red room I saw myself as a monster. Some evil freak who killed with no remorse. Now I know that's not true and after a lot of hard work I'm now 4 years clean" Natasha explained "I want to be able to help you Wanda, I want you to realise your so much more than what you think you are" I nodded in shock THE black widow had been through the same thing I was currently going through. Maybe we aren't so different after all.

"Can we go home? It's cold out here" I asked Nat who just chuckled and nodded her head. She looked down and noticed I didn't have any shoes on.

"Wanda, where are your shoes?" She sighed

"I forgot to put shoes on" I shrugged

"Well I can't let you walk home with no shoes you will freeze, come on I'll carry you home" Nat laughed and bent down to pick me up

"Nat I'm 14, not a toddler" I whined as I was placed in Natasha's hip.

"You should've thought about that before running outside in the middle of winter with no shoes on" Nat chuckled
